I am facing call related problem few times. Person at other end is not able to hear my voice. Restart the phone & all well
Also any one having "Search My Catalog" options in Nokia Search. My 3.27 version is not having this option.

One more thing, please- how is its Privacy management? Does it offer codes to limit access to detailed areas like messages, calendar, phonebook etc like some motorola phones do? Thanks in advance.

jhon how are you? i am not live in kenya. i live in dhaka bangladesh. so how can i tell you the price of nokia 5700? but i can say you the intl market price
this phone is sold almost $270 us dollar.
so i think it will help you to take decision

My new target phone since it is the first time of OS S60 built EXPRESS music phone and the best of this is that the price is right in my country and not too much expensive even most of N series phone has and I love Music with all compatible mobile software applications too duoe to the 9.0 of OS i have to get it soonest passible

just wanna share something...
i downloaded some videos from youtube. what i did was, i converted them from .flv to .mp4 through zamzar.com (thanks viperkid) and then transferred to my 5700.
the videos sounded and looked great although there were lags at times.
one of the video's i downloaded has such a low volume. i went to video editor and checked to see if increasing its volume will resolve it.
now guess what happened...the video just didn't sound louder but it also played seamlessly! and i've noticed that from having a bitrate of 256kbit/s, it expanded to 560kbit/s. of course, file size became bigger, but that's no problem. i still have ample amount of storage space in my memory.
i'm no longer encountering lags or some glitches. the editor just did it! now i'm enjoying watching my music videos.
now perhaps this is something that 5700 users can try. (i hope you'll be satisfied the way i do)

For those looking for microSDHC cards...just drop by at any cd-r king outlets.
cd-r king is my trusted dealer. when i had 6270 i bought a 1GB miniSD in cd-r megamall.
when i switched to 5700, i bought a 2GB microSD in their robinson's galleria branch. The 4GB one i bought in cd-r king gateway mall. it's at P2,280.
i'm not certain whether 5700 can support cards bigger than 4GB. i checked sandisk.com and it says there that 5700 can support up to 4GB. i checked 6120 classic and it says up to 8GB.
now about 8GB microSDHC's, i'm not sure if it's already available here in metro manila.

i just bought nokia 5700
becuase i really loved the phone i am now writting this comment
b4 i buy this phone i were reading all the posts about it all reviews even user opinion
so now i will put my opinion so if any one wouldliek to buy he will find my comment
to sum up
this is my best phone i ever had
i had n73 ,siemens sx1
ok lets say adv
1-loud speaker is not so much loud but clear
in my opinion it's enough at least there is no creaking
2-about the earphone it's very clear and the bass is exist also not very loud but loud enough (it's more than enough for me)
3-the mobile it self fast ,camera is good may be above good if the light is very nice
4- it have extra option like audio theme which i love it
it's like windows audio theme
it's theme for all the sound in the phone
i give it 85% very good

When i set an mp4 file as my message alert tone, it doesnt show the actual video when i receive a text message.. it only plays the music (i used the preset mp4 file included in the phone). can anyone help me out? the video ringtone is one of the primary reasons why i bought this fone.. thanks in advance guys.

with ur phone turned off, press and hold the 3, call button (d green one) and * keys at d same time and turn on ur phone whilst still holding and pressing down d said keys for a second or two til u hear d nokia start-up tone. hope dis helps

hy why do you want to install opera or opera mini in your 5700. nokia symbian 9.2,series 60 inbuilt browser is the best for mobiles even beats windows mobile browser.just read the editor reviews of any symbian 9.2,series 60 internet browser,like 5700
