Its tottaly Wrong the Sound of 5700 is great and Loud.with full base,u can set sound with the help of mp3 player equilizer according to ur wish.

@Gozali,
You are correct in your observation. This is one error with this phone. It occurs in Gallery. But this error has been corrected by nokia in the phone's latest firmware. I suggest you upgrade your phonee firmware to correct this issue.

it surely is not a failure model. I have it for 3-4 months and it is a great phone. I like it very much and I have absolutely no problems with it. Recently I found that if I turn 3G network off and use only 2G network my stand by battery lifetime goes 2x times and now the battery last for about a week and if I don't use it very much - more than a week wich is excellent for a smartphone !!

1:) Can you update the Symbian OS from S60 3rd Edition Feature Pack 1 to Feature Pack 2?
2:) How's the video playback? I read info saying it plays videos up to 30 fps, other sites say it only plays them at 15 fps?

i dont know if it works but i heard that if you change back ur date to 2006 the apps will get install and afther installation u can chage ur date back to 2007 and u wont get the error of certifate failed

I am getting "certificate error" even if i keep the option for install application--"ALL"
Also the certificate check is off.
Wht should i do?

one of the big reasons is 5700's processor was a scam it only has 192 MHz, when in fact nokia is claiming it has this specs
- 64 MB SDRAM, 128 MB ROM
- ARM 11, 369 MHz CPU
truth is:
- 49 MB SDRAM
- ARM 11, 192 MHz CPU
it's not a failure, it has great specs, great features for a reasonable price...
p.s.
i have used 2 or 3 apps to confirm this theory, including nokia device status(forgot the version)...
