So far i heard that camera sound is lowered on the new firmware. It should be soon downloadable from nokia's site..

Hey lads, I just wanted to know a thing that Nokia 5700's headset which are provided in the retail package,are they compatible with Nokia 5300 Xpress Music or not....b'coz both of the phone's aperture for the music jack is 2.5mm and its headset jack is also 2.5mm....pls help urgently..I hve lost my original 5300's headsets and I m in urgent need to swap them as they were not of good quality...Pls help man!!!!

ive been checking out the price for this phone from various retailers. The prices range from $300-380. Ive wanted to buy it for a wile now but i'm having second thoughts. If it's such a good fone (as the features indicate), why is it so cheap. Is there something about it that makes it a not-so-good phone? ADVICE PLEASE. Thanks

This a great phone, the best part is its 16.3 million color screen,good sound quality, perfect headsets, I got two head sets with it.all in all its a complete phone. You also have EDGE in it, what else do u want.I just love it.

I have had a black 5700 for 2 weeks now. Any one looking for the flash light mod search for NTorchPro as they have it for 5700 only. I am using it now. It's like 8 bucks and worth it.
1- I love this phone.
2- OS is way faster and less hang ups than my n80 was.
3- I get tons of compliments on style.
4- The loud speakers sound great.
5- The build quality is superb and feels very sturdy. If any one has problems with it, they are abusive with their electronics. I recommend covering your screen and music keys with like pda screen protective film. These are the only two areas that will scratch.
6- The joystick. The joy stick will make simple people angry. It is less than desirable for a d-pad but there is no room for traditional (which I would prefer) but it's what it has. I am putting a small piece of gripping substance on top and that will make it perfect.
Overall I am very happy with my purchase. It's a quick symbian !! Buy one !!

hot swap is the ability to swap memory cards without having to turn off the phone although you still have to press the off button once and select remove memory card before doing so to prevent memory corruption

Hi Sameer, ya I did read the 5700 review and found that the "Log" has a 30 day record.
You can get the entire phone specs and its performance in the 5700 review. As mentioned by most of them the loudness of 5700 is not good but the sound quality is exceptional (read, you must use the headphones for music) But SE phones are supposed to give much better sound quality when kept in handsfree (speaker mode) compared to 5700.

I've read the review on this phone, and according to it, the joystick is the biggest turnoff. Can any owner of this phone please comment on the joystick. coz I'm down to 2 phones- this one and the 6290. Hopefully the joystick isn't much of a problem. -Tim, Phils.

n73 has better camera and louder speaker but 5700 has better sound quality and it is much more powerful in terms of processor,ram,etc.also it is cheaper and has newer os. 6120 and 5700 are basically the same phone in different shells all the technical specs are the same except that 5700 has dedicated audio chip.Hope this answers your questions

No other Nokia phone is giving all of this facitlies in one singele piece.
