to d guys & gals reading reviews from mobile-review.com, here's wat i hav to say, first of all Mr. Eldar Murtazin of d said website is a big time Sony Ericsson diehrd fanatic. don't take my word for it, but investigate like read most of his SE reviews and Nokia reviews and im sure most of ya guys will agree with me that he the chief editor is biased. in short he is an absolutely Nokia hater and SE lover
here r some UNTRUE and UNREASONABLE comments from his review of 3250:
"after the phone fell down on the leather couch from 1 meter altitude a small crack near the lens appeared"
i hav my 3250 for more than 1 year, and i dropped my phone many times at high places (like about 4 feet) i forgot how many exactly but 100% sure there r no cracks appeared near the lens ever appeared. mind u Mr. Elzar, my phone didnt fell just on a couch but outside d street on d ground.
im pretty sure Eldar M. is just making stories to BIG up other brands. one more story making by Eldar Murtazin of mobile-review:
"Unfortunately I have some bad news for those who wanted to store a big collection of music on his Nokia 3250, there's no Search function, you will have to scroll manually through the corresponding sections."
"The equalizer's influence is slightly noticeable, in order to see it's presence you will have to setup extreme values."
every single Nokia 3250 owner knows dat der is a search function on Nokia 3250 and equalizer settings really affects sound quality and is very noticeable. clearly, another story to make SE look better. a good reviewer always states TRUE FACTS at all times and does not favor any brand.
look at their SE reviews, you'll notice dat most of em are praises.
one more thing, remember d headlines from mobile-review..:
"Nokia N76 - Mass production faults"
"Production faults in cell phones – cause and effect"
u'll notice dat mobile-review never included d word "Sony Ericsson S500i" on d second one on their headline, coz dey don't want to make it look so obvious (coz dey love SE)
anyway both N76 $ SE S500i hav production faults but i think S500i is more serious.
oh yeah, remember a few weeks back mobile-review.com was not accessible bcoz iPhone lovers didn't want their kinda unfair review.. Eldar Murtazin's opinion about iPhone:
"So, the iPhone is a real fashion phone? Exactly, it is the ONLY class it belongs to."
i think iPhone deserves a better credit
d only objective review i've read from them is N91's. which cannot be doubted when it comes to pure music quality. dat's y they hav no choice..
contrary with GSMarena, who gives credible, true, reliable and objective reviews! most importantly, GSMarena have never been biased. one example is their 5300's review:
"When we played one and the same song on the Nokia 5300 and a sample Sony Ericsson W900 which we had available at the time, the head-on competition was indeed lost by the Nokia 5300 when using the original headsets supplied with the respective phones. When we used a third-party full-size stereo headset on both mobiles, it turned out that they sound pretty much the same with no noticeable differences in quality or bass frequencies. That was the case though before we turned on the Walkman MegaBass preset which really made the W900 shine. But after playing a little bit with the manual equalizer on the Nokia 5300 we managed to achieve the same results by gradually gaining up the low and high frequencies."

the sound quality of nokia 5700 xm through ear phones are superb ... it completley regenerates ur sound out put with more quality using the dedicated music chip ... its sounds are crystal clear than any other phone ...

did u also catch the comment which someone said that his motorokr. e6 battery wont last for at least a day and its the same with his friends motorokr. e6 ? ... the only reason why those motorokr e6 phones got sold out around the world in countries only in 100s and 1000s is becuz they have paid bollywood actors to play in there tv ad's ... but compared to the nokia 5700 xpress music motorokr sucks im 100 % sure about it ... if the name of the phone is motorokr why is it only a bit good for office work ??? it needs to rock as a music phone ??? most of the ppl who use it have said that the sound of it is very very bad ...
ok heres the real deal dont just listen to those ppl go to a phone shop and play with both of the phones for a while then u will understand ur self ... the real roker aint the motorokr but its the 5700 xpress music ... the name says it all ...

Hey guys stop camparing. moto rokr e6 is a pda and 5700 is mu expre. I have used both they are both good in their genre.
If you want a big and touch screen and a web cam and ofcourse a pda Go for rokr e6!!!!
Or if u want 16m col and good and easy interface go for 5700!!!!
But it is true motorokr is very good with s9 headset...........

My compatriot Viperkid is undoubtedly correct! Nokia sells the best across the globe and across all classes.
I personally use Sennheiser HD550 headphones with my 5700. The sound is absolutely great. The performance cannot be evened by Motorola's ROKR E6 not even SonyEricsson's Walkman phones.
Super-fast symbian, quality screen, unlimited possibilities.
This is the new phase music-phone. 'Nuff sed!

Many thanks for your reply. Do you test the sound quality of NOKIA 5700 by sennheiser, bose or sony headphone? gsmarena also says that 5700's earphones are great quality.

the mobile review also says 5700 produce weaker bass quality than NOKIA 3250. Are you 100% sure that NOKIA 5700 bass quality is higher than NOKIA 3250?

to d fellow askin bout d bass quality on 5700, GSMarena said dat for d supplied earphones only, but once u put better ones like sennheiser, creative, A4tech (my favorite) headsets, bass will not be an issue. i can assure u 100% dat u'll get better bass than SE's marketing gimmick 'MEGA BASS' on their walkman phones once u plug in one of those excellent quality earphones. u can even use SE's default walkman earbuds, and u'll realize dat xpressmusic phones r even better in terms of sound quality, believe it or not!
SE walkman phones aren't really better in terms of sound quality, the only difference r d bundled earphones with nokia's and SE's which obviously SE is doin a good job of including better headsets than nokia. dat's y many think until now dat SE walkman phones r better than Nokia XpressMusic line for music, which is not at all true.
it all boils down to d plugged headsets on our phones. =) i hav 3250 and im using A4Tech MK620 with properly set audio and equalizer settings and my cousin has W900 and got d best settings too plus mega bass turned on, guess what.. they have d same quality, 3250's output sound is even louder LOL!
