@ ami - the phone is series 60 3rd edition it supports almost all the series 60 3rd edition applications ... the web site u showed us does not contain the phone name as they havent updated the sites phone list and this is a new model released in march 2007 i guess ... so if u want themes and applications almost all the series 60 3rd edition applications and themes works for this phone for example go to www.mobile9.com and they have opend a new series 60 3rd edition section for applications and themes ... u will find it ... to find all the series 60 edition phones list go to www.s60.com good luck ...

@ok.just select fon like n73,n95,or whatever symbian os 3rd edition fon that on the list..
tried to search in zedge.. but they don't have ths kind of phone..
what file supported by ths phone?!

What do you need a keypad lock with code for when you can simply press the left soft key and * to lock keypad? Well, press briefly the off key on top of your phone and scowl down the menu that comes up till you get to "Lock Phone" then enter your code and lock your phone till you want it open again. If this doesn't satisfy your need and you still want keypad lock with code, then you can get one from series60v3.com

Does anyone know if 5700 has keyguard lock code? The only thing I saw in it is it only asks for security code if SIM card is changed. How about when you lock the keypad, will you be able to activate keyguard code?

yep buddy it can play mp4's no problem with it all my music videos in it are mp4's ... and it can play em full screen in a 16 million color tft display ... ;-)

i think it does have a seek bar in its mp3 player right ? ... u can forward tracks by holding the joystick to the right side without releasing it ...

+ video res is good; u can take stealth pics and vids ;-). the cam works even if the base is not twisted
+ very sturdy (the twist feature is really cool)
+ reasonably (if not cheaply) priced
- stiff joystick but otherwise very sturdy

+ battery life is good
+ very stable performance; doesn't hang
+ great speakers!
+ platform is newer than n73me; i prefer this phone over n73me
+ a truly functional browser
+ works okay as a modem
- bad pics under dark lighting conditions; even the flash is useless
- no built-in fm antenna. antenna is in the headset
- i wish the player had a seek bar

well akshay i think u have been using the software called n sys info . to check the speed of the phone but it says that software is only compatible and recommended to use with Nokia 3250, Nokia 5500, Nokia E50, Nokia E60, Nokia E61, Nokia E70, Nokia N71, Nokia N73, Nokia N75, Nokia N80, Nokia N91, Nokia N92, Nokia N93, Nokia N95 ... so nokia 5700 xpress music is not on the list ... so how is it for sure we know that this application provides us with true info. about a phone that is not included in its compatible phones list ? ...

people listen some guys are trying to take down this phone don't let it happen they are actually saying that it got a lower speed than it says it has ... and they are not proving what they are saying is true ... so this is going out to people who is saying that this phone got a lower speed than they say it has in the official nokia web sites ... go ahead and tell us how you found out the speed of this phone is lower ??? !!! did you use a software if so what is it ??? !!! anybody who can reply ??? !!! ...

proove us that what ur telling is true ... u have said that it gave u a low speed when u check this phones system status may i also know how u checked it please be free to reply how can i trust what your saying there are so many n70 users hanging around this forum how we know that ur trying to fool us with ur lies making people not to buy this phone cuz u have just said that u checked the phone stuats and speed using what ? ... did u use a software ? if so what is it ? do u have answers for these questions ... will such a huge company as nokia lie about one of there greatest products ever built saying a higher speed than it got inside it ... all the nokia official and unofficial web sites have given the nokia 5700 xm system stuats and its the same ... so answer us sir ... maybe u have told us the speed that had been used at that moment not the full speed is it ? ... how do we know ... proove what ur saying thankyou ...

r u trusting what mr erick is saying about that it got a lower speed than showen in official websites ... if he tells u that all the phones in this world are not good are u gonna stay without buying any phones ... just for the record everyone of us may have an enemy and its the same with some products also same for phones ... some phone models got so many enemies ... so think about it ...
