Hey farhan , is there any option 2 record while listening 2 the fm ? ( for example , in LG KG300 , there is an option for fm recording )..,.so , in 5700 , when plug in the headset , and tune into any station , then is there any option for recording ?

@ Sanju : No there is no option to record phone calls , But i have a trick to record phone calls . for Recording Calls Do this " Call any one whose call u want to record then as the connection is setup and the bell fo other person cell phone rings quickly goto
Menu--->Media--->Recorder and start recording the call. try the trick and give me ur feed back.
The Website On 5700 appears as they appera On desktop With no modification.

Thanks farhan 4 ur reply...and one more thing.,when u browse different websites on 5700 , does the websites appear same as they appear on desktop ? Or , are there slight modifications ?

Yes I have Tried Youtube and it was working fine but videos are not opening i don't know this is due to my Internet slow speed or the phone doesn't support. Let any one Else try and give us responce.
But Orkut is working well but the screen is too large so it can't fits to mobile screen but u can easily navigate to the website page.

In equalizer setting "A" is the Button U move .
Set ur Equalizer like This .Now I m telling U how to put the button A to these Postions.
open Equalizer then press options and Select new present then Name It as "Full".
NoW Edit It form Left To right In First line Put button A to Top then in second lane put button A to 4 position from top to bottom Now in third line put button A to 5 postion in next two lines put both A buttons To top . Then Play any song and first set equalizer to Default and hear the voice and then while the song is playing go to equalizer and change Default to Full[the new equalizer setting u created] and then hear the Sound . Have U found any diffrence ? yes Or No
Now On and Off ur loudness

hello everyone.....i have been thru this forum from one end to the other and i'm confused...there are some posts which say that the camera quality is bad compared to k750 and others which say that its better.....can some gimme a complete overview of the phone its performance the picture quality of the camera etc.....and also the twisting mechanism......i'm currently using a sony ericsson w800i and am thinking of taking a nokia.....so one of the phone's i have checked out(dummy piece) is this one....here in Kerala, India it costs about INR 12000 - 13000 depending on the dealer.....
can some send me the details and if you have any pics taken by the 5700 pls send them to fahdeen at gmail dot com
preferably i would like to know this info from those who own nokia 5700 xpress music....the more info i get the better.....

Dear All,
Three Days back I purchased 5700, This is the fastest Mobile phone from Nokia I ever seen. Great Sound Quality, Camera Not the best but its OK. In Day light it rocks ... true color pictures u can take with it.
Data Transfer fast really fast. Connect to Any windows machine/Linux machine without any problem, Data Transfer is easier in Linux. I tried it on my ubuntu notebook and mandriva desktop. It works nicely.
In short it is a great value for money... If u r looking for a music phone with some extra functions. Just go with it. u will definitely fall in love with it....

To farhan - have u tried browsing the internet ? Have u browsed www.youtube.com ? Does the flash videos work ? Which other major websites have u logged on ? Does the web page fits into the screen ? Overall, hows the web browser ?

the only thing i'm after 5700 is its' music capabilities.
camera is ok, but i don't use it that much. i only use it for videos (because qvga is quite good). still images are inferior to phones that have auto-focus (n73, w810i, k800).
i currently use a 2gb microSD. 5700 works great. it doesn't show slowness when browsing through files. i have 600+ tracks in aac format/128kbps bitrate. sound comes out impressively. especially when my own headphones are plugged in.
the build quality is good. the way i see it, the rubber flap that covers usb port, mmc slot and charger port is durable.
the phone's battery usually lasts 2-3 days, with occasional music listening. but if i browse the web for about 30mins-1hour, it lasts for 1-2 days.
so far this phone didn't let me down.
this is what i need.
i originally chose n73 but i went on and bought 5700 because of its' much improved platform. although n73 has 3.2mp camera.

If No then plz see the reviews page of k750 and Nokia 5700. U will get The proof Whose quality is best

@ Jazz : Yes u r right Loudness has not a big effect but when u put stereo widening off and then on the loudness u will surely hear the effect .If u want to set ur equalizer then tell me i will show u the picture in which i have set my equalizer to hear the loud and Clear sound

@ chacha : Dear Go for Nokia 5700.
Reason:
1.5700 has OS 9.2 as 3250 has OS 9.1.
2.5700 has better processor,Ram, R0M then 3250.
3.5700 has 2 stereo speakers and 3250 has only one stereo speaker.
4.5700 resolution is better then 3250.
5.5700 & 3250 has 2 Mp camera but 5700 has panorama mode which is new feature in mobile phones.
6.Nokia 5700 can read ur sms ,mms & emails but 3250 can't.
So go for nokia 5700 The Fastest Symbian Phone. :)
