This phone is gud infact really fast believe me faster than n73me. As far as sound quality is concened not much difference between 5700 and N73me. yes it got one little problem joy stick is bit stiff rest of the phone is pretty cool and yeah i dont like its plastic looks.. lol

looks kinda ugly and poor battery life.
SE is usually better than nokia in terms of camera quality, stability, music and battery life

5700 has better loudspeakers. Since w880 is thin, sounds' quality is diminished. But of course, if you connect a headset to it, it's another story.

well, both handsets are 3g and outstanding in terms of music. to my regret i don't know much about w850i. but some things i do know, if I were to compare;
1. w850i's inbox in-ear headset is greater than that of 5700. but if you will use let's say, sennheiser, bose or altec lansing or whichever 'classy' speaker or headset, sound output from these two will be fulfilling. there's somehow no or minor difference.
2. both handsets' cameras have no auto-focus. i have a friend who uses w850i, too bad i wasn't able to use its' camera. 5700's video recording stands out better since it is QVGA. w850i only has QCIF (ancient, as described in gsm arena's review).
3. 5700 has more phone memory and has a fast cpu. 5700 supports up to 2gb of microSD i don't know about w850i, some say it can support up to 4gb.
now about sdhc (if you heard of it), some think that if a firmware upgrade is done, 5700 can handle more than 2gb. but it remains to be seen and it is yet to be proved.
4. about browsing, 5700 has class 32 gprs while w850i is class 10.
5. both phones support a2dp stereo bluetooth profile (which is good).
6. as for battery, w850i's the winner. stand-by is up to 350h. 5700 lasts up to 290h.
7. about hardware, 5700 is suitable for the rough and rugged. its' twisting mechanism works fine as proved by an earlier nokia release - 3250. my friends'(and i've even heard from some w850i users) w850i has its keypad cracked for some time. but the slider works okay. i've had 6270 (a slider) before i switched to 5700.
so far those are the things i've observed concerning these two. but of course, it will be your choice. mabuhay ka!

i agree that n73 is better than 5700. its' edge is just the 3.2mp camera but 5700 has the latest symbian. both phones are great for music, i even considered getting n73ME until 5700 came out. and i made the right choice, i should say.

i bought my 5700 for P18,700 (nokia store robinson's galleria). yes, it has an inbox 512mb. if you're serious in using this for music, i suggest you should have your preferred headset. but the loudspeaker's sound is just loud and fine. in your pocket, you can even feel it's strength without activating the vibration.

i wasn't able to go to youtube.com. but you can go to youtube for mobile. i just can't recall the path.

Can I install thirdparty application/games in 5700. I saw that symbian9.2 allows only trusted application. Has anyone installed untrusted apps and games. Pls tell.

I have an N73 Me...so far I've used about 1.5 gb and the phone is still pretty fast...doest hang or nythin...it has a way better camera than the 5700 nd the music is jus as good.....id say go for the N73 ME....
