Yes the flash is only meant to be activated when u capture a photo, any earphones can be supported, as long as they have either a 3.5mm jack which connects to the supplied adapter or a 2.5mm jack which connects directly to the phone.

I just got one. It comes with a 512 and i get upgraded to 2gb and overall it cost me RM 1400.
Overall its a very good phone. Well The camera isnt so satisfying during night time. The Menu and Cancel key at the side cause a little bit of trouble. The sound isnt as loud as i think as it is but it still excel most phones. The rubber cover over the charger port and usb port did cause me a little inconvienience. Other than that it is Cool.
But i have a question. From what i experience i find out that the camera flash cannot stay activated the whole time, only when the moment you capture the picture it will be activated. Is it meant to be like that.
One more thing is which type of headphone the others recommend since the original isnt satisfying. Can it support sony's?

st: No the phone doesnt lag, i have a 2GB card in the phone but it does not lag.

128 MB ROM...can slot the memoray card with the size larger than 128 MB ROM??????will the phone be lagging?????????? I WANNA KNOW!!!!!

if ur talkin about 5700, i can't tell ya coz i don't hav it. in d other hand, in my 3250 if i do listen thru loudspeaker with stereo widening on there's no difference at all. but if i activate reverb, d sound becomes a bit strange (firmware V4.14)..

dam i love this fone i mean i can go online with it during class and play music but jsut sayin if u buy this fone its kind of comfusing at first but ull get used 2 it and o yeah buy a screen protector and a case
