Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970no am not drunk. I tried it and it worked for me ok. Just wanna help you guys. 5700 photos looked washed out compared to the camera of p1i. So i did some testing and this is what i came up with. Now its nearly on par with the p1i. If you can find a better method to increase the quality of the camera. Share it with us. Cheers!

Anonymous, 08 Sep 2008@musicphone, n95 has the same screen as 5700 and is even... morei own an n82 and ive tried an n95 a couple of times already. n95 has louder speakers but they distort at high volumes. n82 has loud speakers, not as loud as n95 but loud enough, and do not distort even at max volume. n82's speakers even have better sound quality. stereo effect is greatly achieved, bass is present whereas in n95 all i hear is the high distorted frequencies. n95 and n82 have the same processor but the overall ui speed is best optimised on n82 because of 128mb ram. n95 only has half of n82's total ram - 64mb. and n82 also has better sound quality via 3.5mm jack than n95. other things that n82 has advantage over n95 are: the gps aerial is at the top of the phone on n82 thus providing great reception and faster lock times, whereas n95's gps aerial is at the bottom of the phone and the signal is so weak. so i can certainly say that n82 has better hardware than n95.

Try this! It works!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! To improve the qaulity of nokia 5700 pictures simply choose the best white balance. in camera, go to options, adjust, white balance and choose the one that mostly matches the real object or place u want to capture (automatic & sunny out doors, fluorescent for indoors, it may vary on lighting conditions). after u take the picture save it. go to gallery and edit it. decrease the brightness by 2' and increase the sharpness by 1'. save the image. who says the w810i has a better camera with its autofocus lol not anymore. i took some pictures, 5700 wins. i wish i could share the samples with you. man i love this phone. i got a new black cover so it looks new again & some cool downloads oh yeah. cheers for nokia 5700

n95 has the same type of processor as n82 which is dual core
n95 has an even more powerful speakers than n82 and n73
sound quality of 5700 may be better through the earphones, but speaker wise
n95 can compete with 5700

n82's internal hardware is even better than n95's internal hardware. i'm talking about the speaker, screen, gps chip, etc. the external hardware, the one that pertains to the build and materials used, is also much better than n95, since it's compact and has no moving parts, unlike n95's wobbly slide mechanism. the only drawback is the surface which is prone to fingerprints and scratches. my n82 has one tiny dead pixel but it's hardly noticeable unless in a very dark background. the n82 also is fast, as fast as n81, on the v20 firmware. i even have a 8gb card installed in it and it still gives no lag problems. there is actually a technique to brighten the screen of n82. you have just have to hack the os. i have not done it cos i'm afraid of crashing my phone's system. about the ram, my n82 has around 90mb of free ram upon start up. the demand paging is very useful because it loads to the ram only the threads and processes that are currently being used. n82 has around 90mb of free ram upon start up because of the 128mb total ram memory (hardware related), and demand paging (software related). n81 in older firmware has around 44mb free ram, with the new firmware it goes down to around 38mb free ram only. so i guess free amount of ram is also firmware dependent, but of course given the large amount of built-in ram (hardware), be it 96mb or 128mb, you'll end up with still sufficient free ram at your disposal. that's it!

I've just bought a new BP-5M battery from Nokia Store in Bonifacio High Street last Saturday. It cost me PhP 1600+. I haven't charged it since and I still have five bars left! I made calls totaling 1 hour, browsed the web for 30 minutes, used music player on loudspeaker and texted probably a hundred times and it's still up!
The reason why I bought a new one is because I've been using my 5700 since June of last year. It got bulged and the lifespan shortened to just a day so I have no choice but to purchase a new one. The battery life's so great!

well after comparing my 5700 to my friend's new p1i, i have to say that i am proud of my nokia 5700. better - broswer, music, games, themes, video editor, twisting keypad. u know it. the 5700 is just fun to use. the p1i's touchscreen is not all that great & the wifi is not reliable & its not user friendly. its a nice phone but am kinder bored by it. but the nokia 5700 will never let u down. it has its drawbacks but that wont stop it from shining. its just the camera that bothers me so i took some sample shots around my home and to get the best result i choose the best preset white balance. then i edit the photo decreasing the brightness by 2' and incresing the sharpness by 1'. and the photos are much better. it still cant compare to p1i's camera but you will accept. cheers cheers chseers for nokia 5700!!!
