Is it true that firmware v5.11 still has some bugs?? I was going to hack my phone with Phoenix software to update my old 3.27 for that version but on another website some people complained about the remote control in radio application. They said that the remote didn't work on the radio properly so they needed to use the phone controls to use this application. Are you experiencing the same problem??

I am presently using 6600(old) as phone and for internet too(ISP: BSNL, India, GPRS 115.2kbps). Modem speed of 6600 is 36kbps at the best. recently, my 6600 is giviing some problem after a long life. So, I am thinking of getting one 5700xm( having highest speed Modem at present). Will it be worthy?

and IT WORK...
just take note of this,
access camera on normal mode(numpad facing you)
go to option and set the flash to ON.
tkae a pic using the joystick.
as soon as you see the flash lit, twist it to camera mode,(camera facing the opposite direction, bottom speaker facing you).
try it again, it should work....

I have tried the trick of using flash widout software but it doesnt work nw. may be v5.11 has rectified that issue. so I tried for various softwares but none worked even though i used the trial versions from the software provider site though 5700 ws supported!!! rest only this python script works but the flash is not continuous but blinks after 3 secs or so. Till date I hve found no proper software for 5700 to make flash on and use it as a torch and nw the trick also doesn't work!!!:-(

Ya i remember that bro. but sme issue wid my ISP Airtel made sure dat i ws nt able 2 dwld d file (sme speed probs nw its f9). provide me d link nw i can dwld it nw and wud notify u if dere r sme changes. but y do u require d new version since ur 5700 is upgraded 2 v5.11?? wait 4 sme new firmware 2 cme up n den try the new software..believe me if proper steps r nt followed den phoenix installation cn b a nightmare. besides new nokia drivers wid latest pc suite does not support phoenix. so keep the setup as it is till new firmware cmes. rest ur wish is my command!!lol!! tke cre

Please download the files from the link in my previous post. Then install the files in the folder. First Python file and then python scripts file. install the files in memory card. after installation a python folder would be created in memory card.
after that using PC SUITE File manager just copy the script file in the scripts folder in the zip file u downloaded. after this just run the python software and a run script option wud b dere from where u can select the script and run it.

Hi! I have a E51, but the MP3 player and sound is not good like Sony Ericsson. I want to buy a phone with speaker stereo, like this 5700. But, have S. E. like w595 and W760, but the price it´s coast more. I think that this 5700, the part rotating will scrash in long use... I have a question: The sound and the keypad, is good like sony Ericsson? I want stero speaker in phone! In Brazil, this phone coast about U$ 470,00. It´s good price with good phone? Thanks!

At first i was also confuse bout that two battery since BP-5M is a low powered BP-6M(in the name), unlike BL-6C>BL-5C>BL-4C with the same position/style of the (+),(-) port.

May be you forgot or didn't visit. As usual rapidshare doesn't allow me to download a file more than 50mb and that file was 105mb. I will post link here after i find it. Like last time, please make 4 parts and give links. Thanks in advance.
By the way, my 5700's camera went crazy in the meanwhile. Hardware problem n Warranty is over. Images are turned upside down whenever i switch to camera mode so it's littlebit difficult to take pics. I can live with this as i rarely use phone camera.
