This phone is likely to cost around 19k Rupees.
For good phones in the price range you mentioned, I'd suggest:
Nokia N81, Nokia 5630 and Nokia N81.
If you want you can even go for the 6233 which is around 7.5k to 9k. The music loudness and clarity is just one of a kind. One of the best music phones ever. But it does not have flash for the camera and cam is 2MP.

Can anyone tell me the current market price of Nokia 5730 Express Music. What are shortcommings of this phone. Am actually looking for a mobile which should have excelent music quality, camera of 3.2mpx or even 2 mega plx will also do.. nothing more about it.. So, can somebody recomend me 2 good phones in rage of 10 - 15 thousand...

i like the look of this phone and sounds pretty good aswell. i would like to know these facts please.
- when is it coming out in the uk?
- how much will it be?
- is the camera a good quality? i know its 3.2 megapixels but most nokia cameras have poor quality.

until now, they only have 1 device equip with 16M color screen , this also called believe in technology??
i think SONY believe in earning more profit, they choose to use small and outdated color screen to earn more with selling those "high-end" phone equip with 256K color screen at a high price, w980 is an example, don't think 2.2" 256K color screen is expansive, compare to 2.2" 16M color screen, 16M is more expensive

SHY, I'd like to point out the fact that this phone has a ARM 11 600 MHz CPU. Which is around twice as fast as the 5800.
Also, I don't really have an answer for your question "why on earth would one need a full qwerty keyboard on a music phone". But I do have some questions for you, WHY ON EARTH WOULD ONE NEED A FRIGGIN TOUCHSCREEN ON A PHONE WHEN HE CAN GET THE JOB DONE WITH BUTTONS? :|
Also, this phone is an N-Gage enabled phone with dedicated gaming keys (modeled after the N81, they are placed near the earpiece).
Also, not every one of us hooks up our phones to our TVs every morning before having coffee. It's really not a necessary feature.
Another thing, I don't mind having that extra weight there, after all, it's not like I'll be carrying an anvil?
And about the smaller screen. THIS IS FOR ALL OF THOSE PEOPLE WHO COMPARE SCREEN SIZES OF TOUCHSCREEN PHONES AND NON TOUCHSCREEN PHONES!: A TOUCHSCREEN PHONE REQUIRES THE EXTRA SCREEN SIZE AS IT DOES NOT HAVE ANY KEYS, WHEREAS THE LATTER DOESN'T REQUIRE IT BECAUSE THEY HAVE KEYS.
And the last thing I have to say is, touchscreens suck. Most people (that includes me) would like some tactile feedback, which a touchscreen cannot offer, and for some people who have slightly larger fingers, it's hell to use touchscreen phones. They are also fingerprint magnets and you'll find yourself wiping off those prints every night before going to sleep, instead of reading your children a bedtime story.
