well the moment i bought this phone
i knew it was the one
i like the keyboard ,it helps me type fast
although the sound isnt that good
but at least its clear
my friends were stunned when they saw it
i think its a great phone
but now im heading for the nokia N900

usman musty, 06 Aug 2010i am buying this phone next week, so please i need an advice... It depends with your needs. But I think it's better to get the C6 than this model because it has a better battery with a larger screen and the free navigation. But if you don't like touch screens or don't use the navi you could go for the 5730.

usman musty, 06 Aug 2010i am buying this phone next week, so please i need an advice... I m using it for a month, itz good. bt a bit expensive. It has same function wif 5800, bt their price different about RM300. Yet, I love this phone so much^^

i have sum problem with installing java application in my mobile...java app. Likes ebuddy, etc...when i install java application in my mobile it installs successfully,but later i can not find that application on my mobile.i have checked every folder in my mobile but can not find it. I had intalled almost 7 to 8 java app. But can not find any of them.. I also had restored default factory settings but still same result...can some one help me with this problem???

The answer is YES, but you must have internet connection, and you must make sure that your phone is fully charged.

5730xm Owner, 04 Aug 2010What kind of problems did you got?Screen Problem, muffled voice calls, phone restarting, flimsy slide. The latest was they readjusted the slider and when I got the phone the middle key, volume rocker and letter Q from the qwerty keypad was not working. The weird thing about it was when I left the phone at the service center the three last problems were not there. I got really mad and decided just to pull out the phone because it eats up a lot of my time going back and forth to the service center.

I have try to connect my 5730xm with a cheap china BT handsfree device, and I got nothing. But I can't complain, because I haven't try to connect it to a Nokia BT handsfree device.
So I must ask you. Did you try to connect it to a Nokia BT handsfree device?
Because if you didn't, then you can't blame it on the phone.

does anyone know why my nokia 5730 cant connect to any handsfree bluetooth device. whenever i click on new paired device it just comes up that it cant find anything

My friend, it has already been mentioned several times in here, that to fix the restart issue, all what you have to do is update your phone firmware.

huzaifa, 02 Aug 2010guyz plz help me my phone continously restarting... help me... moremy phone used to restart a lot as well but that was when the days were just too hot...i remember how it would fail to detect my sim card in those conditions..but the weather is more pleasant now and the phone hasn't restarted since...anyways, don't expose your phone too much to the sun.
