I recently bought X5(Chinese version), and started to feel like AS LONG AS you're not trying to update the OS version from 8.1 to 9.0 Pie, their "evenwell" bloatwares aren't as detrimental as people say.
With enabling Power saver(com.evenwell.powersaving.g3), the battery longevity becomes extremely well, though my background apps are getting killed more frequently.
If you don't want your background apps to getting killed on 8.1, disable "com.evenwell.powersaving.g3.overlay.base.s600ww" process and remove every permission from Power saver app.
You don't need rooting or something to do this, just open settings and tap "apps and notifications", then choose "show system" from right above and you'll be able to find these 2 processes. This has worked for me and since then I don't have any troubles.
I guess the reason why the situation's getting way more complicated on Pie devices is because they've messed up the tuning of Power saver with Pie's new feature Adaptive battery.
Maybe these two are conflicting, or either one's tuned poorly while another one's worsening it even more, or whatever.
Anyways, I think it's not good timing to update to Pie rn, I'd rather want to wait until problems with Pie get solved and become stable, I'm not sure if we X5 users are eligible for that "stable version of Pie" tho lol.

Should have bought this instead of the J7 Core... The J7 is too wide. 72mm max and 65mm screen is good for me, or less. I don't mind phones under 4.7" too.

The camera is alright for the price, not the best not the worst. Dual setup is nice but the second camera is only used for depth effects, so no wide angle or telephoto. I don’t know about low light shots because not used it for that.

Camera quality is a major concern for me.
