1. Display a little bit too big (6.39" is ideal)
2. No Corning gorilla glass 5
3. Wide angle pixel resolution a bit low (8 MP is ideal)
4. Depth sensor resolution a bit low (5 MP is ideal)
5. Low resolution and lack of AF on selfie camera (13 MP is ideal)
4. No NFC & OTG (in fact I personally very seldom to use)
6. Battery a bit small (4720 mAh the most ideal), lack of fast charging (even 18W is great enough for me)

Those who are saying this phone as a crash..go look oppo a5...almost the same configuration..or u can look for xiaomi note 8...i admit tht nokia can do better than this...bt nokia is nokia bro i have been using nokia 6 for 3 years...and on the other hand samsung A5..if i compare to this nokia is far better.

In this phone Nokia seems to have do one step forward but It's not enough. When you see alternative there are already better alternative (price cam specs ) for this phone who is comming.
1. Nokia come with 4000 mAh when alternative are in 5000 and 6000mah
2. Yes they have Android one.... Others have Android one with on screen fingerprint for same price
3. 10 W charging when others have 18 W
4. An IPS panel with 720p. They are jerking fans. Now Amoled with 1080p for same price
5. The PRICE... When you're late or come late it's where you can catch eye customers... Nokia have Always bad price tag.
6. Camera 13Mp module... I can't believe. When you see camera app on 7.2 and 6.2 you know that the hell isn't far. More blurry than average pictures.
My alternative for this phone
1. Samsung M30s or M31 for battery life, fast charge, price, 1080p amoled screen, super pictures and one UI
2. For inconditional Android one lovers like me Xiaomi Redmi A3 Yes it's 720p screen but it's oled! It's the only thing you can find bad in it. Others are stellar....Nokia 5.4 will still behind A3.

I don't know why people are posting negative about the price or features of the phone.
Prices are going on higher side in every country and in every brand. in 200 Euros you get capable processor, screen, camera configuration and the best of all Stock Android with timely updates. Seriously not all brands offer timely and regular update except Google itself and Nokia. Not mentioning other brands but someone said rightly that they release cheap phones (even their cheap phones are at equal price to Nokia 5.3) and then forget to release any kind of update. HMD is working very hard and efficiently for revival of Nokia Brand and yes they made mistakes and everybody does. But not this time. Both Nokia 8.3 and 5.3 are good balance of Price to feature ratio.

Wait is there no NFC? Some sites say it does, some done mention it at all, including Nokia's own pace. No NFC = no sale.
