Why would anyone buy this phone when you can buy the Redmi Note 9S which is cheaper and has much better specs? Or the Poco M3 which is MUCH cheaper and has better specs except for the same processor? And the list goes on.
I'm really trying to understand.

Why do they insist with 720p screens larger than 6" in 2020?
I mean.. the camera can record 4K and the screen isn't even 1080p?

Word to the wise..Might be an idea to go on Amazon ..Argos..site and see how many customers have sent back these phones as they have many problems there is even a sales man who comments on this site who says don't buy these phones and tries to diswade customers from buying these phones..

PaintNinja, 08 Dec 2020According to these rumored specs, compared to the 5.3 it re... moreI forgot to mention that it also has a better front camera, too.
Whilst I'm wishing for upgrades, aside from the chipset being a 675, upgrading the fast charging support by a tiny bit wouldn't hurt if it's cheap enough to do - say... 12W or maybe 15W? Nothing crazy that would harm the long-term lifespan of the battery, just a little boost over the current 10W charging in the 5.3.

According to these rumored specs, compared to the 5.3 it replaces, it has:
- Slightly worse chipset
- Slightly worse screen
- A new 128GB max storage option
- A better rear camera
- Updated Bluetooth 5 rather than 4.2
I really hope this isn't the case and that we'll be pleasantly surprised when it's actually officially announced.
All those changes would be good and somewhat make sense at the right price, aside from the chipset which I believe should be upgraded to the SD675 instead of downgrading to the 662 from the 665 in the previous model.
With the much improved 675 they could have more selling points than just "better camera" - they could say it's noticeably faster too, plus the better ISP in the 675 would further help the camera upgrade.

So this is basically a 3.4 but with a more powerful midrange chipset and a 48MP camera. I definitely don't mind the 720p screen, this is after all a midrange phone.
