This was not the case in the Nokia's Symbia and ur phone just froze - no way unless remove battery. Today u still can replace battery if you need (DIY or mobile service) and it doesn't cost so much (I have not needed this even using my phone extremely). Also if accidentally you face need shut phone of because of freezing it is small plug inside SIM slot to do so. But I don't know anyone that have faced problems like this today so probably this will be never used

I have had two phones last three years both with non removable battery (Sony Xperia Z1 and now Xperia Z3) and I have never faced problem like that. In fact both phone have newer frozen unless maybe once long time ago and then you press power button and hold for just few second and thet'pooff' phone shut of. This problem you talking is long gone but was familiar in the old time. I don't know if cheaper phone in the market today still facing this but I have not experience this for several years sins I had phone that had Nokia's Symbia OS and then this was common problem.

Because Nokia isn't in market samsung is cheating with people with that kind of devices which have not the real value. Let Nokia come with Android,it will hit like a bang....Nokia ♥... Can't wait to buy Android based Nokia phone.

İ love nokia phones and the fact that their making one with android makes it even better. BUT the biggest problem i have with this phone is... THE NON_REMOVABLE BATTERY. Please people who design phones stop doing this to phones. the reason remoable batteries are important is a phone is bound to freeze or stop working and the quickest way to fix that is pulling out the battery (even tho sometime it makes it worst), people can be in a hurry to do stuff and if it freeze what are they going to do, wait for who knows how long. Plese stop doing this.

May Nokia launch this phone like already! Its been like 3 years since nokia realease a good device and lemme tell you something. I had a nokia N series and that thang was the BOMB, I throw it to a pool and $H1T was still dry AF and the phone kept working like for another 6 months.
