Instead of shaming Nokia, try Oreo 8 on your beloved Mi A1 and you will see a lot of bugs which we never wanted in Nokia, so better to wait for an official oreo update without bugs.

This is no longer Nokia.
On missed event (message, call, etc.) the button doesn't breathe anymore. My nokia E7 manifactured 2008 year has that function! Here, model 2017 with Android - no longer.
The cover is no longer so strong. My Nokia E7 was dropped on the ground minimum 30-40 times. It doesn't even have a protector and it's not broken! I see that the display is a bit above the cover in Nokia 6. That means 1-2 drops and it will be broken.
I cannot see my clock after i lock the phone anymore!!!!! Redicilous!!!! And all that comes from Android!!! Now this is no longer Nokia - it's like all the rest. The only difference (like in the rest phones) it seems is the label where is written Nokia, or Samsung or any other shit with Android.

Nokia 6, 31 Dec 2017Bought it a wk ago and its wonderful. Only problem is it do... morelots of gallery apps online but I just use google photos.
no probs with phone, good battery life, bright screen, medium camera, good audio thru 3.5mm jack, once set yup has been fluid for me and served me well over Christmas period.
Thinking of selling this to get Nokia 8 but 9 is round the corner. So happy to be back with ?Nokia and that MY 6 model is doing fine so far, I see others are having some troubles. My alarm has been dodgy but fine now but use my Nokia 6630 for alarms as well and its 14 years old.

So alarms app will be in foreground and then the alarms work in morning.

Please go to settings and then apps find clock click it and clear storage and uninstall all updates... This is the method how I fix this issue... Note: Don't update your clock through playstore, and It's a software issue..

Alarm still not working after Security patch level updated on 1st Dec 2017 has android version 7.1.2.
Please suggest what to be done to make alarm working fine. this problem started from Nov patch level updates....
without alarm it is very difficult to get wake up in early morning etc.

Alternatively I can't switch off calls. The sound volume on calls is awful and can't be changed via increasing the ringer volume. Hoping I can take the thing back - but it was a gift. Constant Google MSG's are a complete pain. And there's a lot more problems.

Monthly security patches arrive late than Nokia phones. Shame on Xiaomi.
Xiaomi didn't provide Oreo update for their high end models yet. Shame on Xiaomi.
They don't have the guts to say their phone will receive regular updates and promise 2 years support. Shame on Xiaomi.

For now they just testing beta version of 8.0. You can sign up if u like... P.S all Nokia phones will be updated at least for 2 years... Even new one, Nokia 2 which cost 100 euros will be updated to 8.1 go. Shame for you? Where you saw phone which cost 100 euros to be updated at least for 1 year?
