hi all. my 603 can play all formats of video except matroska(mkv).
Plz help. Y my mob cant play mkv???????
And at last.,, i will say that its good phone. I like it

1st of all, I'm very pleased with my experience with Nokia 603 It is Awesome!
Soft and good looking phone also very fast n very smart system (Belle) and It's Camera AMAZING! with lights on of curse:)
Still I was disappointed from it's sound quality it was low! but after upgrade to FP1 It became a new phone with loud speakers and Trust me hands-free was the best experience I had with this phone, Loud and clear.
I also tested videos and Believe me when I say I almost tried every video format and all works smoothly .. just .RMVB sometimes it hangs but still working.
Battery life is fantastic after HD gaming and play videos, music and installing about 80 App:) (crazy me).
I just advice you to give it a chance and buy it if you are looking for such performance with low price.
It Worth every cent!

603 support mp4avc till 1280x720..
... moreand one more thing..hd format only allows for mp4 h264 and avc(cos its common and worldwide format).....
for other formats like flv or wmv video the resolution is limited till 360p(video and sound will be great)but if u play 480p pr upper than screen will not show video only sound appears
.you may.increas the video resolution till 480p after fp1 but not sure.

and here ... moreu know the reson......
603 support mp4avc till 1280x720..
but as u told for wmv the sound codec may different than installed sound core....

AnonD-28251, 19 Jun 2012if u know very well about nokia mobile..then why u unable t... morehey....its not oversmartness..what u mention befor i allready tryed.....fully format the fone pull out the sd card...use phone without any app...and sd card for 5,6 days .but after fully refresh it gives same problems .....so that may happend due to hardware damaged that comes in my new set from nokia plant.......
and wmv format works well in 603 till wmv version 9.
and here some video formats that 603 support..
