Bought this phone on 28th of August, 2012, for Rs. 12,500 from Nokia Care. Had to change the set the very next day, due to non-functioning SIM slot, but it was just manufacturing defect on that particular piece. The replacement is working all right. The original firmware that comes loaded is quite fine. Used to lag a bit sometimes. But after updating the OS to Belle FP1, its not lagging anymore. UI got very smooth, got extra widgets, certain changes in the UI, and Dolby Headphone system.
The 5MP camera gives crisp photo clarity & HD video recording, though lack of flash prevents proper low-light photography. But definitely the 5MP camera of Nokia 603 is lots better than the 5MP camera of Nokia X2-00.
Screen brightness and clarity is wonderful. Even in lowest brightness setting, its clearly visible in bright sunlight.
Touchscreen is very responsive, and any glitches in its responsiveness got removed with the FP1 update.
Music playback through the Nokia earphones included in the box is great to hear. With the Dolby effect, sound effect improves a bit.
Have been quite satisfied with this set & is definitely worth the investment.
