whenever i make a call or someone calls me my nokia 603 screen turns black snd remains black till the end of call only red and green button works at that time wat shud i do

I have used my Nokia 603 for about a year now, but resently, the phone turns faulty. When ever I try †̥☺ turn it on with the sim card in it, it goes off immidiately after the nokia hand shake introduction page. But if I remove the sim, it functions well offline, but if I attempt emergency call, on connecting it goes off again. And if I insert the sim while in offline mode, it stays on, but if I change the profile †̥☺ general or any other network activating profile, it turns off again and woundn't come on untill I remove and replace the battery. Please, can anyone help me... Thank you.

My 1.5y old 603 survived 40min fuzzy wash in washing m/c. Great and wonderful Phone.
