Hey, this phone is pretty good...and not a bad price...I paid $189TTD for it....which isn't bad. I would like to get a USB cable for it though, what's the name of the cable, so that I can get it from E-Bay?

Hi!
I have this phone since December 2005. I've bought a USB data cable and it was very hard to understand how it works. Unfortunetely Nokia PC suite does not recognise this phone. I downloaded "Mobimb 3.3.6" - I't works :)

I was cut off in the middle of a call. Now I can't call out-get only three quick beeps-then nothing.
if I try to call my cell phone I get a busy signal.
Any ideas?

Hi
If I connect a usb cable ( which type ?)can the pc recoqnize the phone ? ( as a mass storage ) .
If not , pls introduce the relevant program .

This nokia 6030 is such a cool cell.it has vibrant features. the fm is of high quality. and the looks r too cool!

Hi,
I have this 6030 since a year, and barring the few niggles is the best VFM cell there is on the market. Xcllnt battery, good speakerphone and ease of navigation and v.reasonably priced, makes it a v.sane buy.

I bought 6030 yesterday only based on your comment. Can you help me figure out how to put mp3s in phone/remove operaters logo/downlode compatible software/and put logos when phone turned on or off ??

timo..... we got the same problem,,, the back cover is loosen.. before it works good for me but now maybe i will give it to my younger brother just to use in playing the games i've download before its not working now... very bad

I live in U.S
I payed $30 for this phone at Ebay.( brand new include shipping)(u.s) Also I purchased USB cable for $10. Let me tell you what you can do with this phone. 1.You can download pics games mp3s to your phone. 3mb is enough and you can save datas at your sim card too. Do not worry about memory. 2. you can choose a group and assign ringtone that you want.(read manual if you can not figure out how)3. Also FM radio/puiture text message/alarm/ functions are awesome.(you can choose your alarm with FM radio or Mp3s)
(alarm still activated even phone turned off)

$30 with all this functions? Please tell me if you can find better phone than this with price of $30 range. HOWEVER, I spend 5hours to figure out how to put mp3s in phone/remove operaters logo(name of your service provider at lcd screen)/downlode compatible software/and put logos when phone turned on or off. Why? Because NOKIA do not support software for this phone even this phone has full ability to performe!!!! If you are not familiar do all this things... Do not buy this phone.
Once again, $30 with all this functions?

this is a really nice phone,but it is not nice.this is a good phone,but not a good phone.these sentences may sound absurd but thats how the phone is :-D

it has a built-in fm-radio. The best of this phone is the battery, lasts a lot of time.
I buyed a data cable on ebay that connects at the bottom. You can change the ringtones using the calling groups, not for each contact.

some one tell me how much memory in this phone and how many video song we down load in this
i have seen a Data cable for this phone in the market..
the shopkeeper said that we can upload ringtones and wallpapers easily..
the only thing i want to know before buying it is .. can i upload themes and games to the phone using the data cable..
and if i can where do we get these themes and games??/

Yes. you can connect this cell phone with your computer. However, you have to purchase a usb cable for this phone. (Do not Comes with original packing.) There is no OEM usb for this phone. You have to purchase Non-oem cable from 3rd market such as E-bay. (around $10) Yes. you can choose your favorite song as your ringtone and upload pic. But you see there is no external memory slot and internal memory is very limited.
