it is a good looking phone, looks very sincere, but memory is very low and no sd card facilitty. its infrared doesn't work on tht time when you actually need it, is that remove the round portion of IR port to townload ringtone

wats the use of MP3 playback if you have only 2.5MB usable memory!!! Cant even put one complete song n this!!!
Battery is a major issue!!
good if all u wanna do is to talk and message.
Playback quality of the phone is nuttin to be proud of!!!

This is phone is a So So. dont expect too much. a good phone if you use it only for calling but not a good multimedia phone. yeah and the radio's cool too. :D

I bought this phone by reading the reviews mentioned in this page. I am really happy to buy this cheap & best one. My regular option is of assigning tone to a contact which is not available in this phone. But I have tried to solve this problem in a tricky method by creating a New Group in Menu=>Contacts=>Groups. You can add a single or multiple contacts in this group and assign tone for the group. In this way you can create many groups. Tricky but way out. Bye

Surf to www.flurry.com to register and download a small Java app that will allow you to retrieve and reply to Yahoo mail. Works fine on my Nokia 6070 using GPRS and on my Nokia E61 using Wi-FI.

hey i just got the nokia 6070... does anyone know how to configure it so i can check my yahoo account e-mail..ive tried everything but whenever i try to go into the e-mail it says e-mail settings incomplete...thanks for any suggestions...

I bought this phone a week ago. Day 2 the buttons stopped working, Day 4 the battery went dead & Today is exploded...Its a disgrace of a phone and i am so annoyed that i wasted good money cleaning toilets to buy this peice of garbage! :(

Purchased this phone on 01-01-2007. in Hyderabad, India for Rs.5500/-
Using it since one month.
The good things about this phone
1)Large screen display 128 X 160 pixel
2)Large Fonts - even easily readable by older people
3)Soft Keypad
4)5 way navigation keys
5)Infrared - very useful you can import or transfer anything from your pc or other phones.
6)GPRS and FM radio
7)Java
8)Loudspeaker with good clarity especially for FM radio
9)PC Connectivity
10)Wallpapers and Screensavers and Themes
11)Very good in-built Java applications
12)Flash messages - This is really cool
13)Graphical Smileys - but will be more perfect if the clarity of the smileys are increased, they look blurred, but the inclusion is good.
Now for the bad things
1)Screen is not that much brilliant when compared to Samsung phones of this class, eg: Samsung X-650,X-300
2)Too small inbuilt memory
3)Phone book size is also small only 500
4)Delivery report for the sent messages is stored as a seperate message. Again you have to manually delete them from your inbox.
5)Camera is the worst as it is not even 1 megapixel. Really camera is of no use.
6)Worst FM radio interface GUI. Nokia needs to totally redesign the FM radio interface GUI
7)Battery charging takes more than 2 hours from battery low condition to battery full
8)The accessories supplied with this phone are charger and headset-model:HS-5 (single ear type). The quality of the accessories are so bad that you will not believe that they are supplied by Nokia.(Still don't understand why they decreased quality. Here in India People identify Nokia for its product quality not the looks)
9)No adjustment on how long the backlight should stay on
10)Very Confusing GPRS menu settings for manual configuration
11)Mono headphones bundled with the pack
12)Regarding saving the phone numbers, for example if you save a phone number it does not ask you which type the number is i.e. Home, Office, Mobile etc. Instead it saves the number as general number. You have to first save the number and then change its type. This is very frustating to store numbers of people who have more than one contact number.
13)The supplied manual does not explain everything in all the menus.
Despite these bad things there are some interesting things to note:
1)Nokia says that this phone can be connected to the PC using CA-42 cable. But you can also use DKU-50(Prolofic technologies) cable to connect to the PC. Upon connecting this cable the phone says "Enhancement not supported". Don't worry it works even it gives the message like that.
2) Using Infrared you can transfer default wallpapers and screensavers to other phones, but with datacable you cannot.
3)You can use Nokia Theme studio in your PC for creating your own themes. With this not only you can change the wallpaper,screensaver and menu colors but also the icons in the main menu (only). Really cool.
And not the least: You can use animated images as wallpapers and the animation works. Check this out. (Note:Animated files should be in GIF format only)
My opinion about this phone is if you are a hard fan of Nokia and only care for the looks go for this phone. If you also matter features along with looks then do not invest in this phone. Don't get fooled by the brand name.
