bought it on dec 2007 and still say kudos! despite the scratchy look and lack of dust proof casing, a times photo resolutions too low and one cant print,. pls post the upgrades for programmes online

Well I just got the phone last month and it was free for me so that was a plus but for the most part this phone really great. Everything has their problems, nothing is perfect. My only wish is that there would be a place that I could call to ask questions when I am stumped. I really love being able to conference call up to 5 people.

madamluv, 09 May 2008How do you transfer the numbers on your sim card to another... moreyou press menu, go to contacts, scroll down to either move contacts or copy contacts to sim card then switch the sim card into another phone and figer out how to get them copyed onto the new phone. it's not really that hard and it says in the oweners manual how to do it. it pays to read those things sometimes oyu know ;)

Anonymous, 17 May 2008man i got this as a replacement for my razor and i feel lik... moreyou press one button on nokia too. it's called the * button. it makes it go to silent and you can adjsut the settings for that under profile to make it vibrate.

hey , if u are getting a new phone and dont want any problems with it .. dont get this one . the first time that i dropped it the back came off and one of the things that keep the bak on came off so now i have to put tape on my back for it to stay on! also after a few months the camera stopped working so all i can do now is record things and bluetooth but the memory is really bad so sometimes i cant do that either

I had this phone for over 10 months....it is eqquiped with great features and sometime i feel it is a smartphone for me with an unbelivable low price... i had bought this phone for 4300 INR...incredible...it has ADD FOLDER feature where i have segregrated all my important information accordingly...whenever i need my comp password or email password i flip up the phone got to msg-saved msg-personal(my created folder) in fraction of seconds no hanging.....i have installed 512mb n have over 30 different software and games loaded free n performs excellent...it is the toughtest phone coz i iuse to handle it roughly like throwing it on my bed, sofa and sof cushion just for fun n test and show its toughness to my fiends who had fragile highended expensive phone and laugh at them...i luv my phone but one day unfortunately i was boozed heavily came home spoke with my wife removed my phone to toss it on bed n unluclily it hit the wall on damaged the screen...the screen now is joggling and woobling...but the best part of nokia 6085 is that somw features still work (incomming/outgoing calls/alarm) basic needs.....it is the other part of the story that now my babe in hand will cost me 1200INR to recover....but no problem i will still go for this phone....probably i will go for XPERIA next time for which iam collecting money ...but i will still grade nokia 6085 5 stars ....thums up!!!!!!!!

Very very user friendly. Even heard at many places that its recommended for old people due to huge keypad and big number display. Camera quality is satisfactory, and theres no OS, but thats because Nokia managed to cram all the great features into such a low price(Rs.4000 in INR(80$)!!)

I just got this phone used from a friend. There was no manual with it. Was curious about a couple things.. First, under the recently used texting list, is there a way to delete people from this list? Cuz it still has people from the former owner. Second, is there a way to change the face plates, or get new covers for this? It doesn't look like it.. but figured i'd ask. BF doesn't like that we have a pink phone. hehe.

i buy it on 10/jan/2008.it's nice and durable.but the body is scratchy. nice sound and cam. cstn display is irrating and notclear. almost good to buy.

Worst phone I have ever had. It has been replaced 2 times, battery replaced 3 times and still won't stay charged more than 2 days. Last charge lasted 2 days and I didn't even use use it. Save your money and get something else.
