This phone does not have an OS (like Symbian) and it has most probably have a propietary software made by nokia. This phone, since it doesn't have an OS, can't run more than one program at a time. Meaning, there is no antivirus made for these types of phone since, the antivirus can't run if you run any other apps :)

I have had Nokia 6085 for about 7 months. So far the only 2 complaints I have about the phone is the small writing on the main display, and the dim lighting. Other than these 2 complaints, the phone is perfect to me. The keys are sturdy, and big for dialing, the ring tone is very loud and clear, and the speaker is loud and clear. Also the navigation is very easy. It's a good durable phone, and the battery life is awesome, the battery lasts on my phone for days.

Good phone, easy to use, good battery life, great reception. RING TONES ARE FAR TOO QUIET THOUGH!!!

Bought 6085 on 4/24/2008 @ Best Buy. Display doesn't work consistently.

My friend has been using this phone for about 7 months now n I must say its user friendly n cheap, flaws include: u dont hv much gaming options since it has 128 by 160 pixels and nice games are either 178 by 220 or 240 by 320, also u'll need to buy more memory since she internal phone memory is small, but buying memory cards 1gb and above will cause the phone to slow down or hang when the memory card is almost full

Just bought 1 30.07.2008.very nice phone,like it v.much no problems its okay better than nokia 5200 and more durable and strong phone.

I am using this phone and have encountered the following problems in the phone's features:
1-The phone's loudspeaker is powerful but produces virtual sound and creeks can be clearly heard.
2-The VGA camera shoots average quality pictures and videos during daytime but is completely useless during night.
3-The telephony is not that impressive as sometimes the incomming call sound gets muffled and distorted.
4-The 128x128 pixel display cannot show detailed pictures and has bad legibility under sunlight.
5-Bad USB connectivity, no Infrared and lack of HSCSD connectivity. No included memory card and data cable in sales package.

Nice little phone with just enough features, pity it only takes up to 2Gb mem. Like all Nokias that I have come across this is simple to use. Also like that I can use it with big fingers cause it has big buttons. Hope this helps someone.

It's a good phone. I had it for 3months then it started going on and off by itself. It's in for repair. I'll let you know how it works thereafter.
