      Hello everyone
i just got this phone 1 week ago..actually it works perfectly with me..music, radio and bluetooth..eveyrthing is going fine..
i suggest this phone for ppl who don't care to get a perfect camera and dont plan to play games on the mobile...i was searching for such phone form long time coz i hate games and cams in the mobile..
if u search for a true practical mobile with all needed used features..go and buy nokia 6085..if u look for a PDA or a dvd player in ur pocket..6085 will not be ur correct choice..
      thanks for everybody

Its a budget phone. Mobile retailers in India say that this phone is doing considerably well. In each mobile store an avg of 3 Nokia 6085 are sold. Not bad..

I bought my first cell phones this week and they are the Nokia 6085. I wanted some specific features in my first phone. I wanted a flip phone to protect the screen. I wanted seperate charging jacks and USB jacks. I wanted hearing aid capability, seperate outside screen, no protruding antenna and large easy to feel buttons for my big fat thumb. I also wanted a camera and video capability.I got the phones for free with a 3 year sign up plan for two family members here in Canada. The box came with a USB cable, earphones, easy to read manual and they threw in the chargers for free. So far as my limited experience allows I think the quality of build is good, some of the functions are cumbersome to get at but after all it is a phone not a portable computer. The screen is easy to read but I agree that the outer screen is dark and hard to read occasionally. Phone volume is good, hearing aids or not, ringing volume is good and vib. alert is good if it's not in a case. I have not lost a call yet, but that has a lot to do with the service area and the provider.Camera picture quality is fair but again this is a phone not a 6 megapixel digital camera. So far, so good.
                          Thanks

"this phone is the equivalent to 75$ (us dollars) in romania"
geez, tell me where and i'm on my way!
in fact, the phone is priced to an averege of 450 romanian lei, which means 180$, on the free market. it may go down to 75$ though, but only of you take it with an expensive 2 year contract from a telephone service provider, like Vodafone.

I got this phone as a free upgrade with Vodafone. Standard Nokia features such as easy to use, naff ringtones etc but does have music facility. Need to buy a cable to download from PC and does NOT come with a memory card. For a free upgrade I am very pleased. It has all the features I need, just have to sit down and read the 114 page user manual. Lol.

Can a SE W710i theme( not walk man default themes) i.e., downloaded themes be used as a theme for Nokia 6085.

this phone dose not come with a Memory Card, it is not included in tha package, the phone dose not have mini Jack, it has tha same wide one as allmost all nokia`s, and the remote control with jack adaptor of the n80 is not suported by the phone. I put on the phone a 2Gb card and it worked (a feeld it 90% with music to try it out, and it worked like with the 1Gb card, it is not slow) for this price, very good phone! keep in mind this is a cheap phone!
