Dear 6100 Owners!
I thinkin' about buying this one, but I have a question about it. Please help me!
Can you assign DOWNLOADED pics or ring tones to phonebook entries? The 6610 can only assign the original ring tones and logos to the phonebook entries.

The Nokia 6110 is the first color mobile telphone I ever own. I have it for about a week now so far, and it did worked out just great. The screen brighness is just pefect. Great reception. A very ergonomic keypad (much better than the 7210). Though there is no FM radio, but it's not the essential thing for me. The phone size is just right. Small enough to fit in any kind of pockets. Lighter than a cigarette lighter. It's the best phone nokia ever made!

Too expensive this month, but will re-evaluate an unlocked unit in Feburary.
At this price range, this model *should* have voice dialing. A very handy feature and more useful than FM radio (I do like those FM equipped models however.)
Saw one today, very small. Even smaller than the 6610, which is nice and slim already. They are the same price more or less, so I might consider the 6610 because it has more usable buttons & keypad. Both are nice.
I'm very interested in the 6200 when it hits...

Unknown: the price will drop soon, its a matter of couple of weeks. second thing is that 6100 have Wallet application instead of the FM radio, it depends in our needs, for example me. I don't need the FM radio honostly although that I have the 7210. Third thing is that you can send high quality images through MMS, in 7210 you can't. The 6100 can not send audio clips through MMS but it can receive them. Finally, the 6100 is the smallest and the lightest nokia phone with a colored screen.

Small is not fashion. It is is function, feature and more over true benefit. Better to have it and not need it (or notice it) than to need it and not have it. Think of an emergency senario. Contrary to popular belief it is more difficult for a man to carry a phone than a lady with a handy purse. Be free. Carry small pocket items. Focus on primary features that give real world benefits. Range, size, and reliability.

FOR UNKNOWN:Yes,I have had a chanse to even play a game on 7210,and listen to it's radio. It is a great phone, but not small enough,so they bilt this smaller phone without radio and with bigger memory.

the price is too high for this kind of phone. It doesn't equipped with radio... just a waste of money if we buy this phone just because of its nice design and small size. In my opinion, function is more important than fashion.

How does this compare to the 6610? I'm thinking of getting either a 6100 or a 6610. Pricewise, both are now available in the Philippines for $350 for the 6610 and $410 for the 6100. I expect prices to drop further after the holiday season.
