I have had this phone for about 2 monthes now, and I am very disapointed in it. the front screen broke within a few weeks, and no one would replace it, and its constantly restarting, dropping calls, and out of service. The memory is always full I really cant download anything. camera is ok, cant zoom. but overall quality is good. bluetooth works great, and so does radio. if you dont use your phone much this is a good phone, but you cant over use it.

If you want to download heaps of tones etc. You will find that you will run out of memory very fast... The only downside to this great phonee.

Great phone! I just gave my 6101 to my wife and got this one for me. The pop port is for the nokia ca-42 USB cable that's optional. i bought one online and i just connect it to my PC and add my own ringtones and themes and wallpapers. I put all my notes and calendar stuff on MS outlook and sync the phone. with bluetooth, i have an awesome headset and use that to sync with my PC...you can set diff ringtones for different things like texts, sms's, calls...great phone...you can even create you're own themes if you unzip the .nth files and replace the pics and mids with whatever you want...

It's my birthday today so I decided to splash out and replace that OLD motorolla V550 and I have to say I am very impressed with the 6103! I was in and out of the shop in 5 minutes, I didn't even think twice about buying it. I didn't look into it AT ALL. I just presumed it would be a good phone so I bought it. I think the camera is good, but then again I am used to the V550 so ANYTHING would be better than that! lol. I have noticed ppl on here saying the volume is really low when on a call... That is true ... but it isn't as bad. If you are looking for a phone that is easy enough to use and aren't too fussed about memory etc. It is the way to go!... A message to all ya'll ppl... Why do you always complain about the memory??? Most of you wouldn't even use all of it anyway. And whinging about the "poor" camera and the features the phone doesn't have is ridiculous! If you really wanted the "good" camera etc. WHY DIDN'T YOU JUST GET A PHONE WITH THESE THINGS!!!! So stp whining about this phone, after all you do get what you pay for!

HI all .... this review is for those who are in search of a flip phone which should be a value for money. well i think Nokia 6103 is the one for you. I bought it today itself, but the phone has delivered me everything which a common person wants ... it is really good and is under budget for most of us. So I would give a thumbs-up for Nokia 6103.

This phone is very disappointing. It comes with only 8 ringtones. The earphone is almost unusable you can't hear in it. You can't program different ringtones for different incoming calls. When you save a new number it doesn't let you set up any features such as the type of phone number (mobile/home/work), it scrolls through options very very slowly, when you close the cover, it stays on the last screen you were in and doesn't revert back to the home page automatically, when you add a name to a new number the recently dialled list doesn't update to the name, the wallpaper choices make the phone completely unreadable, when you select copy in the phonebook it is mysterious as to where it is copied to, and so on. Finally, in the same car drive that I take to work, it loses the signal at least twice as often as my previous Motorola.

Well, I've had my Nokia 6103 for about 1 1/2 months now, and it perfectly fine. I've dropped it on several ocasions and it's as tough as all other Nokia's I've owned. I think I will be keeping this phone for a very long time. I like it's design, simple but sophisticated on the inside(applications/software).
There is just 1 thing, I wish you could buy memory to add to it. Like a mmc card.

Before I bought the nokia 6103 I read the specifications. I knew it had a vga camera and only 4.4 meg of memory but this does not bother me as i never use the camera or memory.I use a bluetooth headset nearly all the time. This phone has very good reception and is a very good phone for making and receiving phone calls and also has a very good battery life.My last phone was a panasonic vs6 which has a brilliant screen and camera but the reception was poor in marginal areas.I1m very happy with this phone and will be keeping it for many years.

Ok - I have had this phone for a week now after returning a Samsung t809, t609, and Moto RAZR. The 6103 is the only one that can pick up and KEEP a signal in my fair-poor reception area. Yeah, the screen isn't brilliant, but it doesn't reboot itself like the Samsucks and it actually is able to receive calls unlike the RAZR. My PEBL also had problems. I will stand by this cheap little phone.

Well, I feel I just gotta put my 2 cents in. O have recently upgraded my phone, tested out a few, dilemmas encountered, as expected. I ennded upo choosing the 6103; after much research andsking questions. WOW, am I ever disappointed. Yes, Nokia has proven to be a durable phone, with decent battery life. However, the particular features on this phone, well, they're just not there. There is absolutely no comparison to this phone and the samsung t809. The only downfall to te t809, it has no voice dial. Oh well. I am currently in the process of switching back to the all "full featured" t809. Good luck to you all.

ummm on my service providers site, they say that the phone has 3.5 mb's of shared memory....but on this site it says 4.2 mb's of memory. So which one is it?

Sorry everyone, but I disagree! I just got the nokia 6103 and I love it! I switched from sidekick II and I love all of the new features, the size and reception. My only complaints are that the sim card only holds name and phone contacts, not addresses or e-mails. I would like to ask t-mobile what is the purpose of a sim card? It seems worthless! It should hold all the info in any phone and then transfer to any new phone. My other complaint is that too often the reps do not know what they are doing. I had to call 3 times to make sure my service plan was switched so I could finally access my yahoo e-mail and the internet. After working out the glitches and learning the many new features and oh yes, adding what my worthless sim card could not back up I am very happy with my purchase.

Question: is this phone THAT bad?

I mean, according to all the opinions I read here, it sounds like it is. I kind of like the look of this phone. Can you guys tell me what's really so bad about this phone? I'd really appreciate your opinions. Please and thank you (:

                                      OH, ONE MORE THING:
Beth: You can buy Nokia 6270 for $360 at http://www.starlinwireless.com , then bring it to the largest T-Mobile dealer (remember $300 minimum!!! cash back ).

                                        TO BETH:
                                        I feel your sadness 100%!
YES!-Definitely refuse the package when it arrives and then call T-Mobile to cancel the agreement and this GARBAGE 6103 TOY!

                                        SUGGESTION:
Try to find the biggest T-Mobile dealer in your area. In New York it's: Cellulalr Plus!!
Cellular Plus gave me the perfect Nokia 6270
for $70!!! (new line or second line activation required).

EVEN IF the largest T-Mobile dealer in your area doesn't carry unlocked European Nokia phones, if you bring to them your own GSM phone you can demand at least $300 cash back!
(that's if T-Mobile pays them $350 and not $400 for 2 year contract).
