Its strange some people expect features in phones of 1998. This phone was feature rich for its days and is truly remarkable compared to the junk churned out nowadays that last hardly 6 months.

I've used this phone -- first as my primary mobile phone, then as a spare and last as a first phone for my teens -- since 1998. It's a little heavier than the modern versions and it doesn't have a lot of features, but it STILL works great. Very good reception, sms, a few games... it's a real workhorse, just not fancy.
I'm going to keep using this one just to see how long it will live. 8 years and counting...

Why does this phone have an infrared port, for it cannot use data services?

i still use that phone its is very old and fashion people tell me that your phone suck but i care its still am phone man!!!! ucan still use it to call who cares if there are no bltooh and mp3 its stil a phone!!!!

The best phone.I am leaving in Afganistan in mountains and I baought this gsm 2 weaks ago .The priec was 500$...Is expensive but is better than ericsson 318(300$)

it's a great phone! after seling my sx1 i have to use this one 4 a while... it's not so bad except it's battery lasts abt 20h and it keeps shuting down by itself =D

i do agree that Nokia 6110 is practical one , shockresistable but its weakness that it does nt allow me to program it like some otheres

Well this is the phone of the sencury, i have had it since 1999 and still with i always buy new phones and they brake but this phone is still iresistible please bring it back in a new model. Its my baby and my best friend!!I giv i 10 out of 10.

I'm still using it,that phone may operate even on Mars.Nokia is the best producer of phones, now i dublate it with 6310i.
