I am just a simple person and just want a phone to make and receive calls, send and receive texts and to be able to download music from my own cd's and then listen to them. I am a great fan of Nokia and would buy it in preference to any other phone so all this technical stuff is a bit beyond me.All I would want to know if it was an easy phone to use and that the music quality was good

dont think so, because in the same list it also shows value of 6500s!(slide) which has a value of 1,10 W/kg.

But if you're a moderate user by calling means, dont make it stop you from getting it.

I still think 1,16 W/Kg is acceptable, as its far velow maximum 2,0 W/Kg.

You know...I bet that value is for the OLD 6110, not the new 6110 NAVIGATOR. That would make sense.

                  http://sar.nokia.com/sar/index.jsp

sar value is 1,16 W/Kg, which is pretty high for a mobile device, the maximum allowed is 2,0 W/Kg, but still, most phones are below 1,0 W/Kg, so this is the only thing that is holding me from buying it.

If you're a heavy phone user you might think twice. I m still thinking if I should get this phone or not, the navigation feature and the Stereo 3d speakers and all the other features do extract me alot.

                              SAR value 1,16 W/Kg?!

r u kiddin me, go for it if you want your braincells roasted.

N95 has only 0,57 W/kg, thats 2 times less radiation, so think about that b4 u buy this phone.

This phone is totally wicked! Better buy than the N95 in my opinion.

Tip - If you want maps for other countries free, just get nokia map loader (same as what the N95 uses).
Also check out MGmaps for live google maps, and nokia sports tracker (beta) to turn your phone into a personal coach just like the garmin forerunner!

I saw it mentioned earlier, but I just want to check; can the GPS operate in kilometers in South Africa?

I spoke to Nashua Mobile and their consultant told me that you are NOT charged GPRS rates when using GPS. You will only be charged GPRS rates when you download info from the "additional services" tab on the GPS software - Call their Advanced helpdesk on 011 207 8017
