I just saw one at the mall and my friend owns one.
besides, GSM Arena will not post something that is not confirmed. I check their website regularly for almost a year now and I can see how they update this website on a regular basis.

i just don't get it. in the official nokia website it says that this phone is not out yet. and some sites say that it is. so are the ones's that they sell on the sites fakes? just tell us nokia that if/ when this phone is out!!!!!!!

Yes it shows a caller's picture if you've associated an image with them. About the memory, it's only 23MB so it's not much. But I have an ipod for music and a digital camera for pictures. I just want a phone to make calls!

Hi, can someone please tell me does this phone have full screen photo caller id? meaning if I take a picture of a friend can I set it to show her picture in full screen when she calls?? please someone who has this phone let me know.. also how is the reception on this phone

Photo quality seems very nice. Especially if there's lots of light, the pictures look pretty sharp on a computer. At night the flash is good if the subject is close. I haven't taken movies yet. It feels very solid not cheap. It's light, and the width/length are small. However it's a little thicker than I thought. Haven't used the FM/MP3 yet. And yes you can make/receive calls without sliding it open.

Can you give as a detaills about your Nokia 6111?
- Like photo quality and Flash by night.
- How about the movierecorder quality.
- Is the 6111 of cheap plastic or is of strong materials?
- The size and weight,
- FM / MP3 player quality?
- Can you make and receive call without opening the slide?

Update: I received the phone from Plemix less than two days after ordering it. IT IS AWESOME :) I thought I'd have to be dissapointed since I've been waiting for this phone for a long time. But so far it's perfect, and looks better than the pictures! Worth every dollar.
Only problem is that I don't have it working with T-Mobile's internet yet. Damn tmobile.

this phone is not copy of d500. if so, d500 is a copy of Siemens SL55. they all look similar.

www.soundtech.com.cy in Cyprus start selling officially NOKIA 6111 as of Monday 14.11.05 (1st modern slide-up NOKIA. The 1st sample that we got looks very nice. At least it has Bluetooth and FM radio and in Cyprus it will be a great hit.
