Hi I m Pallab 4m Bangladesh.I want to buy Nokia 6120. But i still can not understand which is the best of two (6120/6121).Can anyone tell me about it!!!

i cant believe most of them here are saying that the 6120 and 6121 classics are almost same and changes r minimal...
come on!!!
6121 has an hspda at 3.6 Mbps
and the gprs/edge has been upgraded to class 32 which is quite fast
also the bluetooth now supports advanced devices with better A2DP also.. transfer rate is really high now.. also the phone now supports 8gb memory very well. no issues at all. some guys had a lagging problem in 6120c.
i recommend people also please look at nokia e51 where the diff being that e51 doesnt have two cameras but it has WIFI which is worth losing a front cam of no use unless u r into video calls and stuff.. check it out.. hope this helps.. its my first post here by the way!!

hi there!
i have with me this elegant nokia 6120 classic. and to anyone who wonders what the difference between 6120 and 6121 is, well it's so simple.
6121 is designed for europian networks.
6120 is for other countries.
for some reasons, specifically the rf energy laws for every country, 6121 works in non-europian countries, just like the guy who resides in bankok.
nevertheless, of the accounted value, 6120/6121 is the best, at most, before 6220 protrudes.

Your first sentences is not too clear. I don't know what you mean by "best fit". What are you looking for in a phone? My suggestion is to make a list of things you want in a phone then check to see which phone contains it all.
Complete user reviews are available at different sites on the net. I have also given my review on this site. Putting it here in detail would be long and tedious. I suggest that you read the specifications on this site and on Nokia.com, it answers your questions about GPRS and 3G and more.
Just a note on GPRS, which means General Packet Radio Service. It has nothing to do with Global Positioning System (GPS). This phone is 3G and will only use 3G if your phone provider has 3G services, but it will work none the less on 2G.
Audio sound is a personal choice.I think the sound is great. For its value, the camera(2MP), sound and video are all good.
And finally, any phone from which you can log onto the internet, has a built in modem. So yes, it can be used as a modem for your PC.
I am happy with 6121c.
...till 6220c comes out.

Hello everyone!
I'm planning to buy this phone and after reading some opinions, I got confused if this phone would be the best fit. I would like to ask someone who knows a lot from this phone. A complete review will be a great help. I especially want to know the quality of the camera, the video, and the audio sound... both the good and the downside of it. And I heard from my friend that most phones can be used as a modem for pc? is that true? I mean, what type of connection does it uses [especially this phone]? the GPRS or the 3G?

Will some 6121's owner tell me is the Nokia Music Headset HS-45/AD-54(the remote control with 3.5mm jack on it) compatible with 6120 Classic too?
Because it's compatible with 6121 in Nokia.com, but with 6120 not-listed as compatible.
I wish a 3.5jack with not losing the remote mic and joystick(that will happen if I use the 2.5 jack on the body for better earphones)

About the difference between
6120 and 6121.
There is a very slight difference,which will not affect the user.
But they are the same fone.
You will find no quality difference,
or usage difference.They both work exactly the same. Have the same features.Buying either one will make no difference to the way you use it.
Nokia 6121c is a newer release.
To check type *#0000# .6121c is v04.09.
Everything on 6120 will work on 6121 and the other way around as well.
Please read the entire opinions before posting the same questions.
BTW, Nokia site doesn't provide all informations about its products, some info are incorrect,such as Nokia 6121c has 45MB of internal memory, Nokia site says 35MB.
If you want to trash Nokia, go to another site.
I would like to think that this site is for people who want to know more about their Nokia phones and exchange ideas.
I will answer any questions about Nokia 6121c.

6121 classic is a better than 6233.
Or if you can get 6124.
And if you can wait for 6220.
Go for 6121c.

nokia service center is irresonsible attitude! recently my nokia phone was break down, i send to nokia service centre to repair, they dun even bother to tell me when can i collect my phone, just tell me tat my phone repair status online... when the day i pick up my phone, the nokia customer service officer told me tat my phone is beyond repair due to water penetrate! i'm so surprise tat how come the water can penetrate wif my phone n the phone dun even contact wif the water! i asked to give more details n prove tat my phone is reali damage by the moisture but they declined it. the informations is given by the technician, lastly they said tat they can't help me. i so disappointed in nokia service center, their are not transparency enough... they dun even bother to solve your problems! this is a daylight robbing to me, i pay few hundred bucks for the phone n last for only 2 mths! think twice before u purchase any nokia handset bcos there's only limited warranty for ur new handset n the service center can even void yr warranty w/o any valid reason!
