I'm a person who don't like to change cell phones. If it has all what I need it's enough for me.
I had nokia 6230i before for 2 years and I really cried when it fell in the water. T.T
I bought this 6125 two weeks ago from CTI Miami.
I've to say that 6125 is better than 6230i and it's also kinda of stylish.
anyways, lets get to the phone:
Advantages:
~Good design with color and clear screens.
~The camera is better than 1.3 MP.
~The mp3's sound is loud enough to make your nieghbor call 911 (haha J/K).
~Faster performence than 6230i.
~The battary stayed long time with me.
Disadvantages:
~The camera and the volume bottoms on the sides, somtimes it's hard to press them.
~It didn't come with memory card or CD like 6230i.
~10 Mb internal memory !?!?
In conc. it's such a great phone if you take care of it. Personaly, I recommend it for those who like flip phones.

I like the Nokia 6125 a lot. It has:
1. Good feature set, Mp3 player, memory card, 1.3 mpix camera etc
2. New S40 SW has improved a lot and it is quick, reponsive and no bugs
3. Design is nice and phone is reliable

I do not recieve the voicemail indicator when someone leaves me a message either. If anyone has resolved this problem on their phone please post how. I can receive SMS and MMS though
A: This is a network problem. Network sends SMS to the phone automatically when new voicemail is available in the network. You told that SMS and MMS is working ok in your phone. Please contact you operator about your voicemail problem

Its complete but software support for dis cell is very less when compared to other cell phones of dis price range....

Does anyone encounter no voice message icon when the person left voice messages.
A: This is not an handset issue because network restores the voice message and sends a SMS notification to handset when new voice message is available in the network. If your mobilephone is able to receive SMS then your phone is ok.

It's been more than a month having this phone, and I'm loving it more and more each day. The battery, now that I use it just like a normal person uses a phone, lasts me up till 4 days on a single charge. Previously, I could only get a little less than 2 days, but I guess, the batteries conditions out and now it lasts very very long.
Everyone will be suprised of just how FAST the phone is. Even viewing multiple pictures of 500Kb each, very little lag to speak of.
And the best part, after owning 6230 and 6230i that have a habit of freezing that require shutdown/restart... this phone DID NOT freeze at all at any extreme usage. Excellent!

For Mike:
-Nokia 6125 has extremely fast user interface. A LOT quicker than 6101 and 6103
-My 6125 has not any hissing sound

Agreed that the case shell is not top notch quality and that the 6125 scratches easily. It is a very good phone and good looking too- the pictures do not do it justice .My phone is just ver a week old and it has major scratches on it. I am very careful with my phones and this is the only phone I have ever had that has scratched .

NOW, SERIOUS QUESTIONS:
1)Is this phone just as slow menu response as 6101 and 6103 and especially slowest 6260?
2)Also does this phone has a hissing sound during the call like all other Nokia phones that have FM Radio?

It's a very nice phone with a very poor shell. Scratches very easy. And the battery 4C won't stay on more then 2 days without any playing. I've changed the battery to 5C and i guess it'll take much longer. Otherwise the overall usage is very nice. Too bad the carcass materials are so bad.

-Software performance is very good, S40 3 rd edition is nice to use
-Operating system is quick and no delays can be seen when using that
-I have not seen any bugs in the sw, sw is stable
