What is the difference between 16 and 24 million colors? Nothing. These are indistinguishable by your eyes.

well i have a 6270 and i get 3 - 4 days moderate use. so in standby should be more.

Sorry, the phone really doesn't have WiFi.

I think it because of Nokia 6280 has got a 970mAh (>11days) battery however the users say that it can be able to stay only two days in standby!
So I'm afraid that it will be weak as well.

240 hr is 10 days standby and by nokia standard they do generally prove quite reliable figures.
Unlike other brand who state 320Hr which dont last longer then 4 days

Dont you folks ever read the posts?!?! The reason why the bottom half is longer is due do the fact that is where the antenna is built in! I think it looks well, quite distinctive really, and some great features. Just hope the battery can cope with those displays :o)

It's cool phone & everything but hate the way the upper flip is smaller than the keypad, doesn't make much sense, makes it look ugly.

This not a Nokia vs. Samsung discussion site!!
Advantages:
- Great displays (the main display is not small! Its a 2.2" sized dplay)
- Easy opening mechanism
- Light indication on outer display for missed calls/SMS/calendar reminders
- WiFi!!
- Improved audio quality with new speaker
- Video ringing tones
Disadvantages:
- Ugly but ergonomics keypad
- Memory card is not included
- Data cable is not included
- Absence of 3G (Although its not a prevalent thing and very expensive)
- No flash
- Weak battery

I aggree "Jo", it matters who realeases a phone with maximum features in a samll package for the whole world in MASSES. And thats what in part I guess, makes Nokia no1.
Samsung recently anounced SCH-B500, 7.7mp cam with 3x optial zoom and SPH-V8200 with 8mp cam. But as usual those are for Korean market only. Ask a Korean and they will laugh at you. They have 7mp cam phone for a long time and its old now.

they all do, they all have the tech. is not fact who used it first.
its fact who can pull it into MASSES.
if really the tech is that advance why they take so long to put them in "older" tech anyway?.
and that samgsung 8mpx. TRY TO GET IT. you will not likely find it anywhere.
really i think all the companies have to tech to do really impresive phones right now. even nokia, motorola, siemens and sonyericsson. the thing is who can use that tech into a smaller device, and put lots of them in one.
some japanese, korean models are like ages ahead, like sharp 903. but they ARE Huge and not widely available.
and if you didn't know nokia and ericsson and motorola are one of the companies developing the HSDPA networks. they have already contracts with t-mobile, orange, and cingular. thats probably HSDPA are not out yet. while samsung uses qualcom chips in their phones and they only have to worry about the multimedia the most. (same goes to LG)

Thats the problem Bro. Samsung always try out their latest phones in Korea first and by the time it reaches the rest of the world people start saying.... hey thats a copy.
but well lets not get into arguements anymore. I love to see this Nokia with 16M internal and 256K external screen. That should be the new stanrad for all the upcoming phones. And when other brands do plz dont say they are copying nokia..And yes all the slim and thin calmshell should have a auto open feature as well(i heard people with big hands complaining.LOL)

jo.. just to let you know.. if you think that is more important, then you are naif. What's the point of being the first one to have? isn't it more important to know who has developed more than the other? just to let you know, if you think that your favourite nokia phones has been the best in mobile phone technology.. then you are completely wrong. That is a complete rubbish statement. Benq-Siemens already making HSDPA (3.5G) phone while nokia is prouding themselves with 3G tech. Samsung already one of this technology in their phone. One more thing.. the technology that samsung announce in the european market is the "rubbish" from their home country (i mean.. they don't use it anymore, its already somekind of technology of the past). Japan also already succesfully tested the 4G technology and they are going to use that technology very soon (while again, nokia is still stuck in 3G). So, in conclusion, your nokia does not own the latest technology (they probably are the best in having a market share around the world, but not in korea and japan.. nokia is just a baby there). You might say something like samsung is using Nokia's technology or watsoever like that, but i will tell you this.. in 2002, japan already owned mobile phone with 1,3 MP camera integrated inside with 3G network and coloured screen while nokia is prouding themselves with Nokia 3330, 8910, 8850, 6110, 3310, 3350 and those monochrome-screen phone. You might say, "oh.. its already in the past.. look!! its 2002!! now is 2006! and nokia is catching up!!" ... wait a minute.. while you guys proud that nokia make 3.2 MP camera phone in N80.. Samsung already completed their 8MP camera phones like months ago!! c wat i mean?

wait a minute? neither samgsung for nokia got FM radio EDGE, 16 million color screens, 128*160 external screens in their phones???
how this phone can be compared to theirs PHONES!!!
if you say that just because nokia is doing clamshells its copying then thats crap.
isnt samsung and motorola using candybar with internal antennas that nokia created?!!
arent they adding fm radios and using nokia S60 ?! so whats the problem ? nokia is just using the same form style they keep their style. no complain about that silly things please. it get on my nerves...

to all those complaining about not having 3g or that it should be a 2mpx camera or it does not have Wlan, well once nokia integrate this and comes out with a newer version, the only thing you would be complaining is the price.

haha Arda, you are funny! i know what you mean, i am like that too.. you should see the collection of phone i have in my drawer hehe.. i had the moto V3x for exactly 3 days before i packed it up and shelved it.
One way of overcoming this, is just simply telling yourself that the first version of any new phone sux, so get one that has been upgraded, and wait for the newer version of the phoen that you like to come out, like for example 6131i or something ;)

but flash are useless... they just work a mini torches, if you want a real flash get a REAL CAMERA
