1st i have Nokia 6131 for over 4 years and it's still as good as the 1st time i brought it but with memory card and new cover every year it go back as new .
Thank god that i have this wonderful phone .

after a few months the clip to press to open the flip got stuck and now it cant close, plus the soft plastic covering is peeling off making the phone look like its 100 years old. i'm extremely mad at myself for buying this phone. not durable at all!!!

6131 is a very good phone very durable and after 4 years still working perfectly. camera quite good shame it can't take shdc memory cards

this is an overall good phone(VERY DURABLE)though it sucks that the 6126 got awful reviews because of the crappy AT&T firmware. I

I've used this Awesome phone for about 2 yrs .. it's amazing in all sides but the cover began to go off and everything broke but maybe that just happened for me becauz im really careless and i got in the pool with it and i have very amazing memories with this phone and once i saved it and it nearly costed me my life .Anyway its a great phone and who REALLY likes it then buy it :)

personally, i think th... moreOk Now. I have this phone for about 1 year.
The camera is perfect in day light.
The music player is perfect, u need to change you equaliser if u want a perfect an loud sound.
the keys? Just perfect, elegant.
The in-build browser is just perfect.
About java midlet? I have 90 games, and 130 java applications. All of them works just perfect.
The dislpay it is disposed and i have problems. 3pix are death, but that was my mistake.
The design isn't that good. u just have to take a very
good kare of it.
The flip is good. but the flat cable is the week point of this phone.
The software isn't that good allso.
I have a problem with my sdcard.
This is my 3th. 2GB sdcard.
It works very slowly when u put over 1Gb data in u'r sdcard.
In video recording u can manage u'r camera settings on unlimited recording.
The recording time limit is about 02"48'
But the battery life is very low.
Nothing more than 2days.
And u can't do anything about it.
Overall it's very good phone and I like it very much.
with other sys40 Nokia mobile it's the best.
16M colors? Just perfect, isn't it?
And if u use hand's free headphones it sounds more the perfect.
I have 1.3Gb music in it now it's over 320 songs.
I have only one question.
How to set up my in-build Im-presence and ptt.

it is a beautiful set.but it is very delicate too n u have to take care very much.the beautiful thing in it is that sound quality in handsfree is simply awsome and man feels himself in studio while listening songs.but there should be more colors in it.but it is simply awsome

Set is ausome, febulus, durable & very very userfriendly. my talke time is reached up to 65000 minutes. and still its working Amazingly. Thank God. It has just one problem, that i sorted immediately. Its O/s need to be upgrade & that's it.

I think that there are only 2 drawbacks, namely :
- the life of battery
- the camera.
the camera would have at least 2 mpix and the phone would be awesome. I still have this phone and I'm glad :)

This phone is great except it can`t fast forward videos and the camera has a green tint maybe it`s the software.There is an upgrade that may fix it.Mine was stolen hurts me.

I had this phone for about a year now. and the Head Phone Plastic Cover located on top of the phone has broke two times. Fist time it was into the one year warranty so Mexico TelCel requested Nokia to repair, Nokia gave me a new one. I think is a design issue because on the new one I have again the same problem (plastic cover broken) but now TelCel say will not proceed by warranty because is only one year. I think if the problem is the same on a new one must cover and take actions to improve it. Looking back for answer of my concern, gperez@borgwarner.com

I've been using my 6131 for 2 years now, and it's superb. The features were great at the time, and still are really good. But I think the best thing of this phone is the durability. It doesn't seem so tough when you look at it, but it is. Mine is really banged up, LOTS of hits and drops on hard surfaces (like the tarmac on the street), it even got wet with soda a couple of times, and it's still working perfectly fine. It has a lot of scratches and dents all over the plastic and "rubber" finish, but the screens didn't get scratched or broken. Even the open button mechanism is still ok. I really love it. This one is "Made in Mexico".

Horrible phone. Had it for 3 weeks now and the battery life is dismal. Need to recharge everyday, even on days I don't use it and it's only on basic stand by. It kind of defeats the term "mobile" phone if you can't be away from a power source for 24 hours. Nice big display screens are defeated by tiny unreadable text and icons. I've just ordered an LG phone to replace it and this one will be going on Ebay.

I recently got this phone and am loving it. Elegantly beautiful.
Can anyone tell me how to change the wall paper which is displayed on the mini screen while the flip is open ?? By default it shows the Nokia shaking hands logo and i want to change it.

I've been using this phone for about 4-6 mounths now.
It's broken now. I can only talk through speaker.
My dad has the same phone and his was also broken (fixed now). It's a good phone otherwise. 7/10
