Just bought the phone-think its quite good. Would recommend it for its looks and features. Why does it need a protection cover if the flap closes???

Its a crap! dont buy it. drink the money with your friends. its the worst fone ever made by nokya...(thet is why is so cheap...) a friend have one, . 1 battery 5-9 hours (little mp3 use) 2 design not great 3 materials cheapest. no not buy it .!!!! your wellcome

it's a nice phone but the quality was very bad...after i bought it operate ok in first 2 days after tat dead adi...the screen turn off itself n can't turn on anymore. i oledi change it 3 times but result was the same ...izzit the nokia's phone quality so bad??? i dun hv any idea on it......wat i can advise is DUN BUY this phone!!!! if not u will REGRET...

Battery is a joke! If you use the Mp3 player, battery is dead by the evening, if you use the bluetooth, battery is gonne by the afternoon...
Camera... humm, well, if this is a real 1.3 Mp camera, I´m too blonde to figure out why foto quality is so poor, less than average.
Materials, looks, fine, but after 2 weeks use, the quality looks like if the device is 5 years old. I´m pretty dissapointed with this Nokia device...

I bought this phone 4 days ago....I charged it and switched it on.After 30m the phone switched off(by it self).I tryed to switched it on but nothink...It's just dead.I dunno if my 6131 it's just a proplematic phone but i'm rly pissed off with nokia.
pls if anyone has a same proplem post it

This is a GREAT phone i can't see why anyone would complain about it i've had this phone for over 7 months and nothing has happened to it it is still in perfect condition but i don't take good care of it i have even dropped it a couple of times on concrete maybe you guys get the chinese ones??? :P

The main LCD must be protected, as it is nokia brand mobile, its LCD is like motorola v3.

To following up on my previous comment, i bought 2 of these phones about a month ago. The first handset developed a problem with the whitescreen going white intermediately. I took it to my local Nokia Centre where they promptly replaced the mini screen. Anyway, the second handset has started to develop the same problem. I guess i'll have to take it again.

i am planning to buy this phone... i heard tat there is no protective cover for the display... can i reject calls without opening the flip and i also heard the flip tends to break easily... hows the audio clarity in the headset... plz advice

Yes it is true,the screen doesnt have any protection that is why clarity is so pure,but u can protect it from scratches,etc by using a plastic film protector specially made for that use,it works fine

i heard that the nokia 6131 has a really bad screen as it has no glass layer protecting it.. is this true ??

Bought this phone coz it looked nice and smart but in less than 2 months, the paint is already peeling off...so what's the use? It's a good phone overall but i'm really disappointed with the material...

there're only 2 things that i don't like abt this cell phn (after using it 6mo):
1. the finishng quality is poor. the rubber on the back and front of the phone somehow peeled off, and it goes the same for motorola v3x.
2. the camera functions well only at sun lighted area, eg. outdoor during daytime. other time will be a lot of noise. not so good for 1.3mp eh?
other than that, i'm quite happy w/ this phone...hope it's useful.
