this is my 3rd Nokia and just like the first 2, it's been rock solid and dependable. my previous phone was a motorola flip that barely lasted a year before the elec strip between the 2 sections tore apart and the screen no longer worked. i bought this off a friend some 3+ years ago and he used it for over a year before i got it. its been dropped numerous times and blown into multiple pieces, but put it back together and it works great, albeit looks a bit worse for the wear these days. the time has come to retire my trusty flipper, almost a bit sad.
its a great phone, super reliable, very durable and SIMPLE to use!

i had this phone 3 and a half years ago., i hear a lot of bad comments but for me, this phone is great. it has the essentials and great music player,. it is also stylish and INSENSITIVE(depends upon how you take care of it)., many have used it and all i have heard were good comments. easy to use and user friendly

It worked fine for one day..but when i was trying to install a java game, the srceen faded and the phone turned off. When I press the power button I can see the Nokia logo for only 1 second and then the phone shuts down by showing black horizontal bars.any ideas? Too bad, it seemed a very nice phone..

The best low class mobile phone today . Lots of colour (16mil) , great keyboard , the button on the side which opens it is the best function on a mobile phone ever . If you dont demand a great camera this is the mobile phone for you .

Yah i'm using nokia 6131 and i love it coz it has several functions that makes it different from other phone

Like dis fone...although having a poor camera but most of all are great...believe me..now it's used with my son to play games...many java games can be installed in this fone,fast browsing,gud music....hmmm love u nokia..

I've used 3 Nokia phones throughout my life. N96 , 5230 and 6131 . And i proudly confess, 6131 was the best among them.

I've used 4 Nokia phones during my life and this was the latest. Had it for 3 years and it was very good.
Sadly it is discontinued now. This was a very good model at it's time.
