NokiaMia, I also found this in the review 'Nokia 6131's qualities are so extensive that they can easily make any Nokia 6230 owner consider a possible replacement'

                Thanks Hamish.

I'm a 6230i user for more than a year and looking for a worthy phone to replace it.

I had a W800 for a short while but returned it due to a joystick problem. But its mp3 player's functionality is something that i miss so much.

nonetheless, as a phone, my 6230i has been great... now i'm still thinking of whether to stick to it OR trade it in for 6131.

Overall, a good, well made and user friendly
phone that cannot be beat for the price.
                        The wait was worth it.

question... can the phone's music player rewinds or fast-foward a music track in addition to "next/previous track"?

Just got the phone and I LOVE IT! It's all they said it would be, no problems at all, signal is strong, the sound is crisp etc.

Memory is a pain though, but 512MB micro SD cards cost about 35$ max (smallest card I could find) so it's easly fixed.

had the phone for a week now, seem to be operating smoothly, no problems, had a 6670 and i find this phone much more responsive and easy to use, the camera quality is good but dose not compare to the 2mega pix of nokia,SE , etc,
when the phone is closed the top clam has a little movement, the only other annoyance, is there's no straight delete button, it's always options, delete ,ok then it deletes,

the plastic surround on the key pad, is a little tacky, had a few people comment on it. but yer the Display its amazing, so crisp and clear, oh and if you look after your batttery and charge it properly and charge it for 12hours on first charge then run it flat twice with two more full charges which i've done, you get 3.5days of battery life, thats using the radio and mp3 player for 1.5hours each day, making say 5calls a day and txting alot.

siginal strenght is execlent too, has very clear and loud, loudspeaker and the os is easy and fast.

                              i'd give it a 8.5 out of 10,

                              very functional and enjoyable phone,
                              i'm stoked as.

                                  To ana:
The reason for interuption is Motorola, have it experienced on my own!

Does the phone have a password enabled Keypad lock? In my 3230 u have an option that when u lock the keypad u need a password to open it. Does this phone have that feature??? Most required for privacy ;-)

i have the phone for 3 weeks now, and behaves quite ok. the only problem i have is with data transfer. i've tried through bluetooth to get a mp3 from motorola razr, but the coonection is allways interupted.
if you have any idea why it does that, i would apreciate your help.

yup, S40 java applications only, .sis or symbian apps r not compatible. very soon u'll find apps for 6131 here, or u may try apps for SEW900 coz dat 1 has a QVGA screen too..
