I have this phone and it's ok,but i don't get it why Nokia put mp3-player on a phone with so little memory and no memory-card slot.The memory it's the only thing I don't like at this phone.

To Alina,
You can email the pics from the phone to your pc email address and then just save them as you normally would. Some of them seem to come out a big dodgy but I've had some excellent pics on my phone.

I've have the phone(6170) for 1 year now and i think to upgrade it (you know 3G, wlan, more Mp, more memory, etc. exp:3280) but i just can't couse I LOOOVE MY NOKIA 6170 i'm happy that nokia&co. descoverd 6170 (hehe).

I have had this phone for over a year now and I am finding it very hard to give it up although it doesnt have a lot of memory I love the feal and look of the phone if only Nokia would bring out a phone that had more memory but the class of the 6170 I would buy it like a shot.

Great phone, i have it for 5 months, the only bad thing is it`s memory, the battery is 4-5 days good (more than enough for this type of phone) I mean come on, it`s so slim, where do you want to put a 7-8 days battery in ?? Anyway i recommend this "sexy steel" phone.

I have un infrared cable and I want to send pictures from my Nokia 6170 to my PC. But it doesn`t works. From PC to Nokia it`s OK.
Please somebody tell me how I can transfer pictures from my Nokia to PC. How I have to configure my Nokia?

when i gave this phone to my brother it broke in three days.i didn't like this this phone because it is too long and can break in 5 mins.

Hi, I've had this phone for about 3 months now. This morning i opened it to make a call and noticed a line of dead pixels across the screen. i turned it on and off and it's still there! Anyone else have this problem? I also get a alot of white screen freezes...

when i try to upload mp3 like ringtones or things it just says it cant dectect a device. oh well...
t6 screw driver good but den what do i pull out the inside screen???

i don't upgrade often unlike others in Manila. i research before i buy. this phone is the best one yet. easy to use, fast, great design and strong feel. love the steel on my hand. will only upgrade if they come out with more memory, better camera. till then, i'm sticking to my 6170 clamshell phone for keeps...

what are you talking about with the mp3? it has mp3 player integrated! not much use though with it's 2.3 mb memory! not 2.2! but still has one never the less! you would have known that if you had one! it would be nice it only people who own this phone would talk about it! some say that batery does not last too long! it lasts for 5 days!!! how much more would u like? i've bought it in an offer for 125 $ and it's the greatest thing I could have purchase! I LOVE IT!!!!

good phone - lots of functionality. Had it for a year, no major problems except the dust on camera lens (which has now been cleared up with the US$1.30 purchase of a T6 screwdriver).
Amazing thing I bought it a year ago and the shops are still charging the same price for it now (some places more) - that's the sign of a phone that has timeless attractiveness in market where duds fall 50% in price in the first 3 months.
If you don't need all the latest bells and whistles, this is a good voice/SMS phones with some decent m'media functions.

had the phone for a year now...overall nice and i'd rate it a 7 outta 10 indeed except for the fact that it doesn't have any expandable memory, the steel surfaces are exceptionally prone to smudges (oily marks especially) and the low quality of the camera...other things which i wish it had were an MP3 player and a radio...
the one thing is, the "metallic" surface surrounding the main LCD within is starting to flake off and i've never scratched it or anything...seems to be of quite dubious quality...
still, i'd recommend this to anyone looking for a stylish clamshell...

this is a great fone... iveused it in the past as aspare fone and just what i need, i love the design but the only problem is that i cant put my memory card into it
