Good features , Nokia clearly knows what they are doing , it does not even surprise me when you introduce a new handset as it always brings quality 7 comfort to people.

pagol, 14 Sep 2008Nokia 6220 classic vs N79 Now start and play the game*n79 is overall better than 6220 classic. wifi, larger screen, better looks, nseries gallery, larger battery capacity, naviwheel, etc. but of course it will be more pricey than 6220 classic by the time it gets released. however, 6220 classic is not bad at all. for it's affordable price, you get a 5mp camera w/ xenon flash, dvd-like video, gps, hsdpa, tv-out in a phone. it's a good deal.

so the keypad looks and feels cheap, what i want to know is, is the keypad durable?? does it come off like some ppl claimed??

why is that the latest nokia series 60 model phones dont have "pencil keys"

Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970Hey Bizo, Did U see This Phone, Have U got a chance to Snap a few photos, if not pls be quiet, I have used N82 & am currently using this Phone.. The Photo Quality during day time is as good as N82 But the night Photos or Photos taken in total darkness are splendid... N82 losses without a question. Also The noise level is very low compared to N82.... As for the Award... Only the Phones that the particular Company(Nokia,SE or Samsung) sends are counted, May be nokia didnot want one of their Non N-Series Phone to win a Big Award like that.... It's marketing Trick My Dear, Plain & Simple.....

great phone Nokia, best content in so compact and affordable package. Only pity for the keypad's look and touch. Does N79 solve this?

Thank you GSMArena; exactly what we waited for and excellent clear review.
Clear that cheap and uncomfortable keypad and, for some> missing Wifi, are the only weak points. Looks that N79 solves both + a little bigger screen which is also nice. N79 look s to be the champion.

looks so cheap though! all the new nokia's have cut their own legs off by combining good features with tacky veneers. they all (6210, n96 etc)look like $50 prepaid handsets.. erk

i love this phone specifications.They are just good for me and my business.I thought i had a better phone until i come accross this 6220.Its da bomb! How can i get in replacement of my 6288.Am looking forward to get this phone on my hand.

Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970maybe u forgot to turn off some applications before u sleep...it does not appear on your screen but it is in the minimized mode...try to hold the menu button for few seconds and the running application list will appear...from that list u will know what applications is not turned off...hope this can help u...

Can someone help me out with this. i just bought my nokia 6220 classic 2 days ago. the battery in standby mode stay for only 6 hourse. i sleep at night with full battery.. i wake up in the morning and the phone is off with zero battery. Please someone advice with that. THANKS
