i got one yesterday ...good camera good flash but no wifi the battery not so good out of 10 i give it 7

ya xenon flash is very stong flash. you can also take photo is dark room without even light the photo taken trought xenon flash is clear and good in night also.
my n82 xenon is just too good but not sure about this phone

How does the xenon flash works with this phone?
Is it like N82? Even in a total darkness

hakim I just buy this in Nokia Singapore $599 and I'm with you my main concern is for the durability of the camera lens protector

you really buy a brand new 6220 classic only for 1165RM (ringgit malay)?thats with a selular provider promotion or a normal price?because in rupiah its mena only 2,7 million. in indonesia price for this stuff is 3,950 million.. how cheap in ur country. if thats the normal price in malay, i'll ask to my frien to buy ir one for me..

i just bought 6220c a week ago with a very cheap price - RM1165, convert it yourself....2gb micro sd is included...this is what i found
good
1. picture quality is fantastic...i've compared with all other nokia phones and based on the data taken from gsm and official nokia website, 6220c is the best nokia cameraphone...the second best is n82 (not the new n85 or n79)...by the way, this holds true if only CIF is better than VGA....need response on this info please...
2.quick response....i guess this is because the high ram memory...
3.small and light
4.good speaker
5.gps works very well except that nokia should update their maps in their website...
bad
1.battery can only last for 2 days with medium usage...this is expected because the battery size is small and only 900mAh..
2.difficult for texting because the buttons are hard and the 'c' button is very small...maybe i can get use to it later...
3.no wi-fi...i dont blame nokia for not putting wi-fi in this phone because its their marketing strategy....if they put every single thing in one phone then people will only but that particular phone....
4.camera sound cannot be turned off....its very annoying....i heard that its because of a new policy that camera phone must have a sound...is it true?
5. the camera lens protector is mechanical stuff and i dont think it will last very long...

Had it a day, not impressed with the interface. Had a 6300 before and wanted the better camera and better shape, but i find the navigation awkward. Totally different to the 6300, image nav options all require you to turn camera on side to read them. No rotation detection. A little slow on moving around menus but acceptable. Camera shutter sound is very very loud and can't see a way to turn it off. Camera can only be triggered by button on bottom right, which again assumes the camera is on its side. Could be a great phone, but needs a software update so will perservere in hope it comes along

Still not available in many countries. I suppose they will cancel it and prefer to sell N79 and N85

Better compare Lg with N96 or even the coming 8Mp from Nokia

I found one quite good competitor for this phone: LG KC910
The only concerns are:
1) Some people want it to be Nokia (I prefer Nokia because I'm Finnish)
2) non-Symbian?
3) not available yet (exp. October)
4) no pricing available either
5) Schneider-Kreuznach lens (Carl Zeiss would be slightly better?)
6) no physical keypad?
BUT it has:
1) 8 MP camera
2) Wi-Fi
3) Dolby sound (?)
4) 120 fps QVGA slowmotion video (just for fun)
5) 3" touch screen (but only 256k colors)
6) 14mm thin (1mm thinner than 6220c)
The biggest concern is that you might have to wait for this. For example the LG KF510 has only just begun to surface here in Finland... Maybe just in time for Christmas in my country?
Oh, and it supposedly also has protective cover for lens, hopefully better than the one in 6220c. And it also has Xenon.
With these specs, and if the price doesn't go above 400€ (which it probably will, sadly), I might consider selling my 6220c and getting this one instead.
6220c still costs 350€ in Finland, btw. I got mine in June for 360€.
