The housing is fine! Its so much better than the n73s housing.. and the N95s slider is too loose and flimsy. this phone is fine for drops cause it is so light, mostly because of the plastic housing.. which is sturdy! I find it almost to sturdy as the keys are a harder to push than other phones. It's small and has everything available except wifi and its a decent price. I think its the best thing out there for smart phones right now.

the day i bought 6220c i kinda regretted it, i find the Gallery and Camera UI is not as sophisticated as the NSeries.

However, I really like FP2 with full screen Caller ID. And the camera takes really good photo, although the Xenon Flash doesnt seem to help much for flash photography, maybe it is wrong setting.

I also hate the phone cheap plastic housing and the back battery cover doesnt seem to fit nicely, lastly, the design of this phone is FUGLY !!!

However, after using this phone for the last 2 weeks, I becoming to like it more and more. It NEVER hang on me nor did it give me any problems. The firmware is stable and fast, especially loading of my 200+ music tracks and hundreds of photos.

I have chucked aside newer phones like E66 (good for texting), G810 (good design but horrible camera despite 5mp), N78 (horrible keypad and only 3.2mp) and Omnia (Overall horrible to use), in favor of 6220 Classic. See my blog http://plwh888.livejournal.com that I really do own the mentioned phones.

The FP2 in N78 and 6220 Classic kinda give me an advance taste of the upcoming N96 which I'm totally excited over it.

          I Heart my 6220 Classic now =) at least until N96 is available . . .

              To VIPERKID:

I already have a new phone. Guess what, it isn't a 6220c, it isn't a 5320XM either.. It's a Nokia N82! I got the black N82 yesterday because my aunt bought it without my knowledge. Hehehe.. My aunt was a huge witness of the "SIM CARD REGISTRATION FAILED" problem of my previous phone as she used my phone for a while. Now I have my money (which I planned to use for buying 6220c) left unused. Hmmmm... Maybe I'll just use it to buy a nice pair of Sennheiser earphones. As of now, the N82's dimensions is not that bulky as I expected. The keypad is not that horrible either.

can anyone tell whether we can use 2.5mm to 3.5mm jack converter for the phone? if yes then is der any loss of quality? does nokia itself manufacture these converters or we have to buy it separately?

piece of failure. a piece of plastic with bad assembly. the designer ought to review himself.

Yes i agree with f., after all it is just a phone not a piece of art. And if it is true it looks flimsy, it doesn't mean it will break easily. And N95 8Gb gives the same feeling of "flimsyness", even at nearly twice the price.
Nokia shops say available next week aroud the 20th this month in Bangkok.
N82 definitely too big for me. So cannot see any alternative, won't wait for the rumored N85 or N79...Tired of waiting anymore

I tend to disagree with people who said it looks rather plasticky and cheap, it feels and looks exactly like what I had expected from looking at the pictures online, actually even lighter and slimmer than I thought.

Although, I agree the camera cover is rather flimsy, the keypad is on the uncomfortable side, and the fonts could be bigger.

But what I needed was a good phone that takes decent pictures and can easily slips into pocket and I think this is it.

The camera latch not good either. A hard drop may break it apart. Darn it! I waited several months for this fone and just got disappointed. Who cares about the great specs when the housing/facia cannot protect it from accidental drops and knocks?!
