Super Baby, 29 Jun 2008Actually N78,N82,N95,6220C have the same processor ARM11 (s... moreAbsolutely untrue! N78 has the Freescale processor running at 369mhz. It's a single chip processor. That's why it cannot record videos at 30fps because its processor can't handle that. N82 N93/i N95/8GB are the ones with TIOMAP 2430 dual processor running at 332mhz that has 3D graphics engine and the capability to record video at 30fps. Now it's all mess up with 6220c. Nokia will never put the expensive TIOMAP 2430 on a very cheap solution like 6220c. So how come it can record video at such frame rate? I don't think anybody has a clear idea.

Actually N78,N82,N95,6220C have the same processor ARM11 (source:forum Nokia)
The N78 and 6220C run at 369 Mhz, when N82 and N95 run slower at 332 Mhz (they have graphic accelerator, but it is of no use for recording video, just for the games)
So no surprise video is great with 6220C, but don't know why N78 cannot do it. Maybe something to do with only 3.2 Mp instead of 5Mp ?

Anonymous, 29 Jun 2008Nokia 6220 classic is indeed a feature-rich phone. But you ... morebecause, it got 128mb ram instead of 96 mb of N78. And this phone got 5mp cam instead of 3.2 megapixels of n78.and it got better looks than flop N81 like design.
I currently have N95 8gb.and will get this whenever its available

Nokia 6220 classic is indeed a feature-rich phone. But you know, looks still matters. And this 6220 classic is one of the ugliest phones I've ever seen. It's just too bad. The looks of this phone does not rhyme with its features. And one more thing. How come it records video in VGA 30fps when it has the Freescale processor running at 369mhz just like that of N78? Weird..

Iam trying to get Garmin mobile working on it but it wont any idea about that ? even Nokia support dosen't know :(

a litle review:
good :
- excellent sound with headset (i have a sennheiser cx300);
- excellent sound with spekers (very clear);
- the processor 369 hrz is very good and fast (like 6120c);
- the keypad is very good ( elipsed);
- he FP2 is excellent;
bad:
i don't found anything bad.
gps: i don't try, so...

aatu, 27 Jun 2008I'm not quite sure what you mean about soft/hard. I haven't... morewhat i mean in soft or hard keypad is, when you press the keypads is it soft touch or you have to press it well before it works? some nokia phones have very nice keypads like the old nokia 6233.

Anonymous, 28 Jun 2008go 4 lg secret ofcourseI've had a look at the Lg web site to see how to download softwares and upgrade the firmware. What a mess, seems like their web site is quite prehistoric compared to Nokia's. That's why i'd stick to NOKIA, so easy to upgrade your phone.

Too bad Nokia phones look like toys.Best features, but they should build their phones like Samsung do.
Don't know which one to choose between 6220c and LG secret. They both are small, and have good camera and video. Same price too. Choices, always choices...

This phone is now available on 02 online!! They kept that one quiet. I was going to get a samsung g600 but may get this one now. Camera is good, 3G and video calling, nokia maps preloaded on it, xenon flash... plenty features. Just hope this is a robust phone!

Saw this mobile at a local dealer today. Very nice display and design. However the plastics used are of really bad quality. I liked it in the shop display but said no the moment i held it. It has a a nice keypad (very comfortable) but the built quality is a no no!
