Just bought the 6220c installed a macrovision 8gb card and works fine loaded 5gb music from mem card reader(faster that way) only took a little time to load the songs in the player. Seek time is no hassle for me, i also upgraded the firmware to 3.23 which nokia says is the latest. camera takes great photos, Kind of slow on the shot though. Thinking about buying the scandisk 16gb, anyone has one installed. overall to me this is a great buy.

I'm very pleased with this phone.
First of all: The camera!
The camera quality is very good, especially with the xenon flash it brings out a great picture! The filming quality is also very good. The only negative point is that the photo's are not always stabile when something is moving.
Second point: Screen
It has a very bright screen, wich is perfect quality to look at video's and pictures. It's an very sharp image screen... no negative points on this.
Third point: Theme
with this phone Nokia really made a great looking theme. The menu is very good and practical, wich isn't always the same with the N-series. The only negative point here, is that you have an icon on the top of your screen when you insert a SD-Card.
Fourth point: Design
The sellphone looks, but isn't simple. The back of the phone has a more greater look than the front of the phone. But the design of the phone matches perfectly with the built-in themes!
And last but not least: Negative
The GPS reciever works great, but you have to pay for your GPS service with your provider. The sellphone is missing a WI-FI or WLAN connection, this is a point that they should've noticed when building this phone. Hopefully someday we will have a great phone like this with WI-FI, free GPS, 8 Megapix camera, AVI/DVIX support and all the rest we need to have.
This phone is worth it's money!

I just got rid of my n96 it was driving me crazy....so many problems. I have sold my n96 junk and was lucky to come across this 6220 classic. No wifi maybe it looks a little cheap, but its less than half the price of the n96 and kicks its ass so badly that i was in shock. Has just as many features, memory can be expanded to 8gb with mmc, camera is twice as better than the n96's 5 mp as well as the flash. and and.....the fone runs so smooth not a single freeze or glich so fast battery lasts 3 times as long if not more. I know its better than the N Series cos ive had them all... oh and it has a cool GPS light on the side and the standby navigation keys flash in blue also when u get a msg or on standby but that can be turned off if u dont want it.... yeh i was suprised by its goodness :)

hakim7489, 06 Nov 2008both batteries have same voltage but different current and ... moreYes because power is the only thing effecting the battery not the only the volts. Do u think a current of 10,000 volts and only 1 amp will kill you? no. that is roughly the power of a static charge when you discharge on metal.

Anonymous, 06 Nov 2008just because the n81 battery is the same voltage dosent mea... morewhen u are talking bout watts which refers to the power, it is related to both voltage and current (p=vi)....the batteries have different current output cuz have different rate of current flow.... u might have a point there....but current is just a rate of positive charge flow and i dont see it will affect the phone....

just because the n81 battery is the same voltage dosent mean it has the same output. the amps on the batteries are slightly off. .97 and .9 meaning the output = watts will be slightly different. volts is not the only feature.

If you want to use flash with video, don't buy this one. Only N79 and N85 can do that

i got a solution for those who are facing weak battery performance in 6220c....6220c uses BP-5M battery which only has 900mAh....other battery that can be used is BP-6MT battery which is used in n81...this battery is better because it has 1050mAh...although it is a bit thicker than the BP-5M battery but i have already tried BP-6MT battery into my 6220c and it fits very well....the battery cover can slide smoothly even there is a thicker battery in the battery slot...for those who still have doubt about the difference of mAh value between the two batteries and afraid that higher mAh value will cause damage to your phone, don't be afraid...mAh value is just the number of charges that the battery can carry...factor that really need to be considered when using different type of battery is the voltage....both BP-5M and BP-6MT batteries have 3.7 voltage and can be used in 6220c without damaging the phone...DO NOT USE BATTERY WITH HIGHER THAN 3.7 VOLTAGE VALUE FOR 6220C!!!!
by the way, i know what i am talking about because i take physics subject and i have already consulted with my physics lecturer about this matter...don't be afraid to try this solution...hope this will help u guys....

Anonymous, 31 Oct 2008Nokia N93i or N95.i already tried n95 but i'm still not satisfied with the video player quality epecially when i downloaded videos from youtube. i might tried n96 but it's really really expensive.
