To ian,

Oh yes!!!I'm sorry for misleading u. YEah, The only way to disable the time is to disable the screensaver and disable the clock(I think- These are all trial n error). How do i know these kind of stuff is that i keep changing sim cards and when i change it, it(the phone) ask me to set the time which i didn't. So, the time didn't appear and the screen saver as well. When the phone is on 'standby mode', the wallpaper just remains there even without the screen saver.

If u want to restore factory settings, i would rather say it is at your own risk. If u ask me, I've tried that before and all my downloded files that are stored in my gallaries still remains. However, that doesn't mean that ur phone is same as mine. The reason is that, my is from the Asia Pacific continent while yours could probably frm other continents like in the EU, US etc...it depends where u buy. You know...if u go to the nokia.com website and came across the phrase - The availability of particular products may vary by region...instead of the word 'product' it could mean to your function as well. Just to let u know as a precaution :). I'm sorry that i can't really clarify your soubts. All these are base on my experience. That's all.

factory reset will not help if this feature is already a default.

Have disabled the little clock that appears in the top right hand corner of the nokia 6230 but the screen still goes total blank with just a large time display. If i have a screen saver active it just goes over the top and the savers not visable so its useless having a screen saver turned on. bit worried about using factory restore as i dont know what info i will lose and what setting will be affected, will i keep my downloaded ringtones etc. ???????????????????????

                            Ian,

The only way to remove the digital clock is not to set ur time at ur settings. That is to say when u go to the settings portion, disable the clock function. That is the only way to remove or else it will be there 4ever. Perhaps u can go to ur 'restore factory settings' and all ur settings will be defaulted.

                                risto,

HS-4W can be used as a mic and HS for PC with BT that has widcomm drivers, if your PC is using SP2 BT drivers it wont work since XP SP2 does not support HS profile

There is a software called Smart Movie Converter for Symbian 60 that can convert and save a whole movie in 512MB

                                        Friedbrains,

You are good at solving problems regarding Nokia HP, especially about the audio portion.

Perhaps, you could help me solve this:
I know Nokia has a software that can convert movie to .3gp format but they only install them in their agent's computer. Any idea where i can get the software and its codec?

Hope to hear from you soon.

                                        Regards.
