Hello?!? is everyone blind??? this phone is a useless pile of s**t! 7610 rules but if you want a phone in the same league then SE K700 forget this junk.

Nokia 6230. Great phone had it since end of March BUT every week I have to take it apart and DUST it out so I can see the display!!! easy to rob MP3 ringtones too. Why pay for them when you can bluetooth them from your PC?

Thanx Bob, That was a convincing reply.
I baught the set... its awsome. I love it. Before this I had 6600... that was one of its kind. But this one is also gr8 cuz of its compact size and so many features and a gracefull look & feel. Anyways, can any one tell how can I adjust the display brightness/contrast (Not of the pictures, but the general display brightness of the phone). I have been finding but wasnt able to find such setting. Now dont tell me that we cant adjust ...

i heard from ppl tat tis hp can only take 10sec video and the video capture using the camera cant be stored in the mmc is it true? help me

Can anyone tell me if there is a "fast forward" function on the nokia meadia player?? because i get really pissed off when i hate to wait 5 mins to get to a scene on a video clip (porn). lol

I have been using the nokia 6230 for 1.5 months and the screen isn't crap (only its size is the downfall), and the battery life is good for 2-3 days (without frequent usage) and about 1.5 days (with frequent usage)

Keep it a few years??? lol its out of date already this pile of shit is just not worth considering, SE K700 pisses all over this! If you want a Nokia get the Symbian operated 7610 which I have and is a great phone.

Just bought it. Great ! The software version is 4.28 and everything works perfectly. The memory show 4 Mb but if you store more than that the phone will display the correct value witch is still 8 Mb.
As I wanted a small and fast phone this is the best choice, and it has everything. Guess I will keep it a few years...

I just bought a Nokia 6230 and I find that there is lot of echo. I am hearing my voice back. I tried 2 different operators, but no use. bad purchase I suppose.

I've just bought onr of these and I am quite disappointed with the ergonomy. The lens at the back on its right side is the worse place I've ever imagine it could be. The precision and energy to use the volume control is above normal.

1. Note that to store MP3 or AAC files into the memory card for listening, do not classified the files into a folder, the phone can't read them.
2. Anyone noticed the recent batches of N6230 has only 4MB of space on the phone instead of the usual 8MB when first launched?
