I think this phone is looks like a calculator plus the camera on this phone is poor quality and the resolution is very low. Motorola E398 is much much better all round.

ok i've actually took the time to READ instead of doing the easy thing of aksing people to email me the 6230's features, i'm planning on buying it in around a month and i simply cannot wait, everything i have seen and read seems flawless, and havin a bitch about for example the screen not perfect or the select button in the centre of the navigation button, i mean seriously who cares and get over it, i'll get used to it and it'd probably save me time in terms of milliseconds, so either way i'm not hazed on it..
ok, i'm a soon-to-be 16 year old for the record, and all i keep reading is it isn't suited for teenagers and that it is a business phone etc etc bla bla bla...why is this so? i mean i'm sure the 6230 would please any teenager on his/her birthday, anyway, i'll end my little opinion there, just thought i'd write something more detailed instead of my last submition.. to conclude; mad fone, but dont everyone buy one cuz i wanna show mine off, later

Wow, the first 'real' (ie, for business people, not teenagers and bored "entertain me" 20-somethings) phone from Nokia to allow you to change the faceplate, how exciting for me. Finally my business phone can have some sparkle, even if it is just a simple colour change...

Mick, if you want a phone I'd buy the 6230, if you want a screen with a good resulution for gaming and a better camera then go with the GX30, or even the GX20 (no Bluetooth, poorer camera but still good). The 6230 is a phone for phone users who like a few multimedia frills thrown in, it's a tool, the GX's are high-tech gadgets with phones built in and are more all-round devices. A good mixture of the two would be the 6600 ot SE K700 IMHO

Should I buy the Nokia 6230 or Sharp GX 30.I like both but unsure which to choose. The 6230 looks nicer and has a better mp3 player but GX 30 has a great camera and screen, also do both the 6230 and GX 30 come with a USB cable or do i have to buy one.

Charlene and slick, u two are idiots... how can you compare 6230 to that of p800 and p900??? 6230 was meant to be compared with k700 which i believe both (6230 and k700) have evenly matched features.... really stupid of you two... I think you all heads are much bigger than Bighead

I dont know why people are cussin this handset. How can anyone moan about the features of this phone! If you compare this phone to others of its generation then the features stand up to them if not beat them. the only phone that does is K700 and it doesnt hav mem expansion. i work in a mobile retail outlet and the 6230 is our top seller by far. I love SE and i would never buy any other but even my head started turnin when this phone was released. This phone has one of the most complete packages out at the moment and even though the screen leaves a bit to be desired it still doesnt affect the video too badly. I like this phone a lot but people are bein too badly spoiled and are expectin a bloody home entertainment system in their pocket and expect it to do them a ruddy manicure at the same time! Technology is movin all the time and at the mo this is one of the best. just be happy with what youve got. I WAS LED TO BELIEVE THERE WOULD BE PUNCH AND PIE.
