I find that Nokia 6230 is a rather good phone to use but it would be great if the design can be further inmproved and more functions available. I hope to find an improved model of Nokia 6230.

This phone is simply the bomb. I got it last month and its pretty much perfect. All the features that you could ever want and a quirky, next to useless video mode. MP3 PLAYER is a great touch

da go to menu-setting-tone setting-ringing tone-open galery and u find where u save u mp3 file,after then u klik option n set as ring tone..

What is the best 3G export settings to convert to 3g using Quick time player. Will the phone burn if play to much movie in it.

yo curious, i had a 6610 too and that phone is nice and sturdy, styling is nice and very good quality.
i exchanged for the 6230 and when i first got it i thought, uggh, horrible plastic casing. then i used all the features and i thought, aah well, great features so that's the compromise.
BUUUUUT, the phone fell out of my top pocket recently (not even very far), cracked the shell and has made the software corrupt.
this is simply not on to make such a fully featured phone so easy to break. my compromise just fell apart!!!!!!!
this is a major factor when deciding whether this phone is for you. nice phone but you just can't have any accidents with it.
what's all that about then, don't have an accident???????

Hi, does anyone know how to reset the phone to remove all existing wap and gprs profiles frm the memory. The phone's factory reset option wont remove/reset the connection settings. If there is a code to do this pls let me know.

yo, manchester dude... it can sync well using BT... m using MSI BT dongle with my IBM thinkpad and i can sync with my 6230 via BT or even IR...

Was lookin at upgrading my 6610 to this phone! Not too technically minded, but basically got my current phone to replace my electronic organiser. It does a brill job, but I'm not too happy with the info I can transfer to my PC via the data cable. I thought the 6230 might synchronise better, particularly with bluetooth, but reading just 3 pages of views, I'm not so sure and it's a lot of money to spend on a phone that might not be an improvement on what I've already got!

finally bought it.
nothing but an excellent phone.
the TFT active matrix screen is more than what i've thought and the camara seems to be wonderful. the video camcoder is also cool.. even though u cant get much out of it.. its really cool.
hmm.. nothing on the bad side..
EDGE seems to be very fast..
well.. totally.. nokia gives the best for people who wants small phones..
simply brilliant..
