          To APW100:
You must first give your card a name if it doesn't have one, or else it won't recognize it.

          To Cube:
Using ANY forms of connection will not affect the interface of the PC Suite. Which means it works the same no matter what form of connection you use. You just need to tell the Connection manager which form of connection to detect. The maximum transfer rate of Bluetooth is 1Mbps but the actual rate attained is only around 60kbps (kilobytes per second). The speed decreases with the increase of distance between your phone and the bluetooth receiver. Bluetooth is good for transferring photos or mp3's but if u wanna get a 256MB card and put in some movies, i'd suggest a card reader.

May i know if the bluetooth works exactly the same as the cable? For backing up contacts and pic and etc.....

How fast is the transfer rate when comparing with a cable? For example x1 mp3 song transfer from PC to phone using bluetooth?
              Thanks for info.

try the MMC in a card reader to make sure the MMC has no problem.

I tried a 512MB card in the 6230, and it didnt work. When I went to the Gallery, there was no MMC Card icon. Any suggestions?

Just get a third party cable, only costs less than US$15. Make sure it is DKU-2 compatible.

                      To Kia:
I got the Billionton Bluetooth USB dongle for about US$27 whereas the USB cable sells for US$64 at the Nokia Professional Centre. I think that you can get an unofficial cable at computer stores for a lot cheaper. But since the phone supports bluetooth, I'm eager to try something new! ;)

                          To Kia:
They expect you to use Bluetooth or IRDA straight from the box. The cable is REALLY expensive and not included, so i suggest you go buy a Bluetooth dongle, afterall, this phone boasts bluetooth as an advanced function!

                          To Anonymous:
It is animated in the sense that the icon is REDRAWN from scratch like someone is painting the icon icon if u leave it for awhile. But my old phone (8850) has full icon animation in the sense that the drawing actually moves, not get re-drawn. I guess you know what i mean now.

                                  To Cyber Sniper,

You said, "Menu icons are NOT animated"

In Grid mode, you are right, but in the list mode, it is animated, like to traditional Nokia phone.

If you suspect if there is any problem, you may need to check with the Nokia.

                                  Regards

I bought the first batch of this phone available in HK. It didn't come with the CD-ROM and instead there was a peice of fax back form telling me to fax em telling em the address to send the CD-ROM to when they have stock. Quite dissapointed that there's no data cable included for such an expensive phone! IR is highly compatible with computers and other phones (unlike Sharps' GX-32) Only probs i find is Bluetooth hangs sometimes when you disconnect or unpair. Needs a hard reboot (switching it off and on again). I've had it auto reboot on me b4 too (shi*, microsoft syndrome?? XD). Functions are GREAT. You can transfer files DIRECTLY to the mmc without having to buy another card reader. Can use MP3 as ringing tones. Screensaver works with GIF files in which the picture is animated as a screensaver. The only complains I have is the casing on it is crap. It squeaks and doesn't snap on tightly. The keypad is a bit clumsy for ppl with large thumbs. Menu icons are NOT animated unlike other older nokia models. Radio needs the headset (included with phone) to be connected in order to work. Battery life is OK, it stays at FULL GAUGE for quite a long time but when the battery meter starts dropping, it drops extremely fast! I'd say this phone overall scores 8/10.

Is anyone experiencing the same problems like mine-All transfer photos from another phone to my phone and the animated cannot be mms out except those by default or the phone itself took the photos.

Previously using the 6600 that do not faced such problems, everything ok.

If really cannot, thinking of change back to Nokia 6600......Pls advise, thanks.
