can anyone please tell me how i can put a video file Eg.. mpeg. wma onto my phone??
ive tried several music videos and each time it says file format not supported :0(
is there a program i need or i can get to convert the files
any info greatly appreciated

hi, just brought this fone.. and find it very hard to just open up the cover to get my sim card and battery in, its says to press the button which ido and try to slide it off, but its sooo tight, any ideas?

Does anybody know if the "Media Equaliser" really works because I changed the edited Set 1 and there is no audible change! I tried this on a 6230i and it has the same problem! Help me out pls! Thanx...

Guys how can i set my ringtone as a message alert. Because when i go to tone settings then message alert tone then gallery, i can't see my chosen ringtone. But when i go directly to gallery via menu, the ring tone is still there :(. Pls help!!!

Any of you got SIM CARD REGISTRATION FAILED?
And many times when I was talking to someone it just hang up and displayed Insert SIM card or SIM CARD REGISTRATION FAILED. Now the phone it's at Orange for the repairs. Great isn't it?

hi ! nokia is a very nice phone...e good phone !! u can`t watch mpeg or wav files but with a smart program u can convert from mpeg or avi into 3gp...so u can watch a movie on your phone !! 10x

it would be nice if they have placed a 3.5mm headphone jack in this phone for the MP3s. I want to plug it to the amplifier and sound it off to my friends! anyway, the came along headphone was fine but not impressive. and still FM still doesnt function when the headset is unplugged. anyway, still no other phones beat this phone!

i was asking my mom to buy me this nokia 6230 early 2004 coz i found that it was the only small phone that has a bluetooth,MP3 & MMC, she won't buy it coz it was a little bit expensive then since it was new in the market. so i just ask her to buy me a cheaper 3100. later, at my surprise, she bought it for herself! no wonder this phone pack lots of features even my mom was compelled to buy it, and she doesnt even use them! anyway i own it now. I like this phone until a found out the new 6230i has higher resolution, isnt my 6230 being replaced too quickly? one thing with 6230, it does't pair well with palm T3, and doesnt have a Copy function with the MMC and phone mem. Anyway, im very satisfied with it, and would settle with it for a longer time :)

I think Nokia has tried to come out Nokia 6230i to rectify the problems in Nokia 6230..

It's the perfect phone , but it's a problem with video camera he make video clips in low rezolution and make the video clip's very,very short (4 min ).

A very nice phone. good data tranfer schemes. the only prob is that it does not play wav or wma files. please can any1 tell me whether can i put some software in my phone to play the wav or wma files??

Absolutley loved everything about the phone BUT dropped it down the toilet. Will turn on but always says insert sim and cant get it to work. Insurance wont cover water damage. Can you get them fixed???

LOVE this phone...WAP seems super fast in comparison to my 7250i!!Am impressed with the phones loudspeaker too! Drowns out my friends samsung lol!!
