1. Which version of firmwire in Nokia6230i is totally
free of any bugs? That i dont know, mines is 3.25, and whenever i use mp3 as my ringtone, for a profile, whenever i turn off the phone,it always comes back up with the nokia tune, i, normally have to go back and re-assigned the ringtone.no big issue to me either.
2. Have you encountered any slow down in Nokia 6230i
if compared with with its predecessor, Nokia 6230?Yes it is slower than the 6230, but i can work with that.
3. Which is do you think is better phone, Nokia 6230
or Nokia 6230i?HHmm!! to me i`ll say the 6230i.
4. Can you tell me about the sound quality of its Mp3
player and Radio player? The sound quality is great!! for both of them
5. is that a function in Nokia 6230i called Sms
counter?Yes its called message counter
6. is that a function called voice clarity in Nokia
6230i? Yes its called audio enhancing

hello everyone!!!well i bought the nokia 6230i a few dayz back.its awesome...the memory card option given is the best and screen resolution is cool...but as i am new to this phone i donno wht the 'PUSH TO TALK' is used for... or wht it is?.......plzzzzz could any one guide me?thx

hey i got my 6230i for a week already. itz werkin great but it still has probs like the 6230 does. it switches off on its on when im playin music in music player.....i dunno why.
n recently, the camera seems to be squeezed. as in...ur picture taken of urself will be compressed from the top n bottom. for example, when ur in standard photo mode, then u rotate the phone so that u take a potrait photo of urself....there, u can see the compression. ur face will bcome long. n when u capture images as usual...they will bcome wide. itz not obvious with scenery pics. more obvious with self pics. im gonna report this to the Nokia CARE soon...see what they can do.]
does anyone of u face these probs too? better check the phone well before purchasin it home,...

Just got my 6230i yesterday. I'm a regular in 6230's forum, but now that i've upgraded to 6230i, i should be popping up here.
It's definitely slower than 6230. so, i really missed that. other than the brighter and clearer screen (in comparo with 6230), i don't other advantages yet.
i need a few days to scutinize this phone. will share with all of you my findings.
so far, i still have high regards for 6230 - i think it's the most accomplished phone ever. i hope i made the right choice with 6230i.

Hi, I have 14-days old this one (6230i), but I'm not satisfied. Most important functions for me are doing a calls and data communication. Communication in the GPRS is OK, in the 14-days 1 or 2 times falled down connection, but on the EDGE system connection is falling down every 10 - 15 minuts. Connection is falling down only if I download data files, wwww surfing is OK. My firmware version iv v3.23. Has anybody same problem with it?

I had 6630 and now i have 6230i and now i want my 6630 back i'm very disapointed ,looks beautiful and smart but is full of bugs and with the same battery 6630 with a biger screen resist allmoast 4 days and 6230i allmoast 2 days think bout this !!!

Yup. I got it an' its wokin fine and fantastic. Mike. Yeah. You can ZOOM before clicking a picture. Am only bothered about the fact that the guys at NOKIA have come out with a better version of 6230 after almost 1 1/2 years and yet they could not give it a new look. They cud have given it a bigger screen, something like, say, 3230. Anyways, I had to like it 'cos nothing is close to it. I had to compromise about the appearance though.

I thought of buying this phone, but then Sonyericsson k750i came along. And I will by her, she will be released in about a week :D I can't wait :D

I want to buy a new mobile. I have a 6230 and I am satisfy with it (almost). I have to chose from Samsung D500 and Nokia 6230i. I love both Nokia and Samsung and I do not know which one I should buy . I was thinking at D500 for the flash , zoom before taking the picture and 265 k but when I saw the 6230i I loved it. Now I want to know from the one who bought it if this has zoom before taking the picture and what is the rezolution of a movie . It is beager from the 6230 ? Hope you will post a reply . Thank you . To...err...'I Love Nokia' - the screen is actually a teeny tiny bit smaller. If ya look at the original, it has a thin black border going around the outside of the screen, and I think in the 6230i this black border is gone. Only about 3mm difference, if that!

After transferring my data from old 6230 to my new 6230i, the font is changed! I could swear that the font is much sharper & smaller before the data transfer took place! How do I get the original font back? I tried all settings in the menu and they didn't help. Thx.

i use a "MY FLASH" 512MB memory card, when i transfer my files with the card reader to the mmc, and then put it in my phone, it doesn't the most of the files, as i put it back in the card reader, it is corupted and the reader doesn't show them either, but they can be seen or played before i put them in my phone...is this a problem with my mmc or with the phone, has anyone of you experienced this,
could you tell me the name of a high quality mmc, which one is the best??
